As you mentioned, the FCA reliability is still a major issue. It sadens me how fun driving and design pioneers Chrysler, Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Dodge and Jeep are, but how plenty there reliability issues are especially with 9 speed or dual clutch transmissions. In my opinion, the Pacifica definitely beats Odyssey, Sedona, Quest, and Sienna on the interior and exterior design, not to ignore other aspects, but again the major problems that it will catch along the way will keep it a far away choice. That is until we start to hear about quality improvements.

@@pacificwave68 I can tell you after having a 2013 Honda crap a trans at 67,000 miles and no help from a dealer I went back to Chrysler Mini Vans and they are wonderful. We still have a 2005 Sto and Go Limited that we keep around for dirty jobs and it has 415,000 miles on the factory engine and trans. It is crude compared to our new one, but tough as nails!

Not uncommon, vehicles are generally released before the safety tests.

They've all had great features for some time now, but they've all been *hideous.* (Well, maybe not the Kia Sedona.) The Toyota and Honda are admittedly great vehicles, but SO ugly! This new Chrysler has really stepped up the design. If I had given in and bought a minivan a year ago, and then this came out, I'd be filled with regret! This one, in the Hybrid model, really _could_ sway me into buying one...

Not true at all. My Pacifica S Touring Plus (2019) looks fantastic! The blacked out 20 inch wheels look super nice on this van! I owned a Toyota 4X4 once and it wasn't reliable at all. So there's that.
