The siren is a Federal PA15A series 1E. I have a PA20A series 2E of the same vintage and it sounds just like that.

I’m just confused how that sheriff car has all blues. Ohio sheriffs cars are mandated to run reds and blues lol.

Respectfully, Can you provide the ORC or other applicable statute that mandates that? I’ve never heard of SO vehicles being specifically mandated to run red and blue. ORC 4513.17 only speaks of blue and blue + white. I interpret that as still, obviously, being able to run red in addition to those. However, I’m not seeing that it requires red. Looking forward to a response!

Sorry I know this is from a year ago but States across the nation are going away with that “mandate” yes technically police cars in the U.S. are supposed to have red and blues but a lot departments are moving to blue and white or blue and amber just like how it is in European countries. Blue for police, red for fire. With the exception of New York and Michigan. In New York the police cars must have red lights in front only with an optional blue light in the rear, but even some small towns in New York are starting to use just blue lights.
