Outta curiosity would you happen to know why I don’t have running lights when I go to open my door or turn on my lights? I got this exact 3rd brake light for my 2018 F-150 & all that happens is the cargo lights will turn when I open my door & the brake light turns when I hit the brakes but I got no running lights at all which is weird… I bought mine from a guy off marketplace & everything worked perfectly fine on his F-150 since his was a 15-20 F-150 too

After 2017, F150's were totally redesigned. This is why i got the 17. Sorry I'm not sure why you are having these issues?. Wish i could help. Good luck Chris all the best.

No they come on when you brake.

A Break light is the one you replace with a new Brake light.
