Not sure if it was already asked, but does it have Apple CarPlay or Android Auto?? Debating on getting an Explorer, Durango or Grand Cherokee... Love the design of the Explorer though. Thanks for the review !!

I was a little confused when you were talking about the heated seats. We have the xlt with the 202A package with the bench seat in the second row. Did you say that both the bench seat and the third row seats were also heated?

I have a 2017 Explorer XLT I believe with the 202A pkg, V6, 4 wheel drive, tow package, front heated leather seats & I thought the rear seats also, Navigation, Sun roof w/ the panoramic glass over second row, SYNC3, my question is: the second row seats have wires going to them underneath like for the heating elements but no switches on the rear of the console, are these wires for the heaters & can you ad the switches to make them work? If not, what are these wires for?

Second Row Heated Seats are standard on the Limited, not available on the XLT. I'm not sure what the wires are for.

I have the same model minus the pano and sunroof... but the wires are for the heated seats. Mine was that way. Should be some other wires on the body side that will allow you to plug those in like I did. So what happened is during the package upgrade, they may have added the seats, never plugged them in during production.

Twin Panel Moonroof is optional on the 201A or 202A equipment groups. They have stopped production on the 2017 models and are currently building out 2018s.

The 4x4 system is called the Terrain Management System, similar to a shift on the fly where you would just leave it in the setting for two wheel drive, but this is not a rwd anymore, it's front wheel drive.

The XLT Technology Package includes Navigation, BLIS, and Auto Dimming Rearview Mirror. There isn't an advanced technology package, you would need to go to the Limited trim.

It is not, you will need either the 201A or the 202A with the Technology Bundle which also comes with the BLIS and Auto Dimming Rearview Mirror.

American cars and trucks are junk, I really recommend the Toyota highlander because it'll last longer and it's a reliable truck. American suv last for 3 years and end up at the scrap yard. Please don't waste your hard earned money on this trash.

Most of your imports don't offer the leg room American cars offer, I know because I stand 6'4" and weight in around 300, I have no problem with my XLT, getting in or out. Repairs on your imports is also going to run you a little higher in price. This XLT is what the doctor ordered, I don't have to sit low to get in or climb to get out. The only thing about the XLT that brothers me is when I leave my phone at home and it keeps looking for it while I'm driving.
