You'll notice this one is different slightly too, programs are often tweaked between compatitions. I personally prefer the olympic one but this one is still amazing

​@@victoriasb5560I heard that it was because of Papadakis and Cizeron. They were beating Tessa and Scott on a couple of Grand Prix circuits so I think that over Christmas they reworked it so that they could beat Gabi and Guillaume at the Olympics. I'm not 100% certain. I'm just going off a comment I read. One thing I adore about Tessa and Scott is how highly they speak of Gabi and Guillaume. They were very happy to see that Gabi and Guillaume won in Beijing. They did speak pretty pettily of Victoria Sinitsina and Nikita Katsalapov though. Which was actually kind of funny.

as much as this version has its own personality, i'm really glad they changed the ending. the ending for this version feels tepid, there's a big drop in energy in both the music and their dance here. the nationals/olympic version, though it still conveys the tragic ending, feels more triumphant. like they can't be together but it still feels like they're glad for the time they had, while this version the ending leaves me feeling drained...

@00 yeah you're right, this ending is fine, but fine doesn't win the olympics and that's why they changed it to the great ending in pyeongchang and that's how they won gold :)
