After watching this series of the build and this drag runs I am only buying all my modification parts from Brock's because he is awesome and a great guy and the fact that this video series proves you are getting what you pay for is a done deal. That bike is flying Brock, Nice Job working through the problems, years of knowledge pays dividends for sure. That Teasley is something else I'll tell ya, and Mike gets it done for a big man very impressed with him as well. What were the 60' and 330' time differences between Big Mike and Jeremy? Maybe you could post up a side by side pic of both their best passes for comparison. Let's strap a 60lb back pack on Jeremy and let him and Mike battle for best ET on the same day....lol. That would be interesting. That's one fast gixer! Suzuki power 👍

@@BrockDavidson Thanks Brock....Teasley really left hard that's a nasty 60 foot and he was making tracks at the 330' mark, as well, had Mike by almost 3mph, odd that mph differntial didn't tranfer to their overall trap speed especially Jeremy being so much lighter, though he also was on the track less time with the quicker ET. I always used the rider/bike weight/ trap speed caculator when I was drag racing to see how much of my bikes hp I was getting to the track, it's pretty darn acurate with what my Dyno numbers were, I'm sure your familiar with that calculation Brock. If you plug in the numbers for both time slips Mike was using more of the bikes hp, wondering if Mike able get the throttle locked in first gear with your de-tuned map versus Jeremy with no de-tune and maybe not getting the throttle locked in first, it would of been intersting to see what Jeremy would of ran if he made a full pass with the de-tune map. In the end with the weight difference and that nasty 60' and big 330 mph Jeremy had you figure he would of went at least 2 to 3 tenths faster if he was able to use the same hp as Mike, but conditions had changed as well so it's not apples for apples. www.ajdesigner.com/fl_horsepower_trap_speed/horsepower_trap_speed.php Jeremy-182hp Mike- 195hp

@@BrockDavidson Brock, when you were swapping the tunes for each rider, from 100% down to 80% or back up to 100% for Jeremy, what exactly are you changing in the map in the 100% column? Is that fuel trim? ETV? Very interesting how dialing the map back keeps the front down!! I think I need to do this even at a lower skill of riding because launching my bike in 1st gear makes me nervous. I'd rather dial it back to feel a greater sense of confidence with the nose barely lifting while steadily progressing in acceleration.

I played around a few times at woodburn dragstrip, On my 750. Aside from having a nervously good time, i found my front end lifting off the suspension- almost wheelies to nut smashers shifting gears.🥴 definitely fun but what can i do to be better at controlling the bike?

That GSXR still has a lot more left in it. So many mods left on the table. Some not so recommend able to the general public as it presents safety concerns and liability issues. But I bet that bike could trap 165+ with some more max effort. Not the intended goal here but it would be cool to see just how far motorcycles have come. Back in the 00's if you had told someone you had a swb stock motor bike going 8.80's at 160+ yiu'd be laughed at.
@BrockDavidson5 жыл бұрын
It's tapped as is. Maybe a low 80. From here, we could go MUCH quicker with chassis mods. not sure what our viewers want to see? Quicker at stock wheelbase? Or longer with suspension mods?
@Tracked350Z5 жыл бұрын
@@BrockDavidson swb for sure in my opinion. Of course the bike would go faster with an arm...but how many arms will you sell? Throw some videos on there regarding the chassis mods and free mods general public do not realize. Pre load, suspension sag, squat, swapping the rear shock for better weight transfer and to properly match the rider weight. Simple but overlooked stuff that would ultimately sell more brocks products.
