I like the idea of the Car but I think it could use a 100 HP engine (maybe 4 cylinder with a high rev limit) to make it more interesting. The car is very flick-able, but it is lacking storage space.

Way way back in the 60s, there are small Italian cars like this. It's officially a roadster since it has 2 seats, and most often used in leisurely drives (or picking up a girlfriend.). It's nice that it's becoming a thing again and that Japan is doing it. Most probably kei car racing will be the next thing to happen.

I have a similar wind break centre window on mySpeed Yellow Boxster S. Yes, any speed above 60km/h and you do not get wet with the top down when raining. Awesome little cars. Although the smaller size and limited storage would be an issue for my 6'0" fat ass.

Interesting to compare the S660 with the 1991 Honda Beat, which was conceptually very similar. The engine accessibility in the S660 is a huge improvement (you had to unbolt a cover under the parcel shelf to get to the engine in the Beat), but I think if anything the luggage space and general practicality was better in the Beat - not itself a particularly practical car either. (Although I did use one as daily transport for more than 10 years - so it IS possible.) Good fun.

This car reminds me of my kelisa. Proper fun car..Still can pick up chicks( 15 yrs ago can la, not now I guess)..Drove up to genting for coffee with my gf( current wife) , drifted ( actually skidded) in an empty open wet parking lot. Clocked almost 200,000 km with this car...Awesome time .
