Jenbug0421 i get on average 650 miles overall in full tank with 60 mpg. This is my average and it's fairly quick and very smooth riding. I love this car so much plus life time hybrid battery...

I’m sold after watching/reading numerous reviews. This is the exact configuration (color, trim) I hope to find in a low-mileage used Ioniq when I’m ready to buy next year. My only concern is that crazy rear window with its limited visibility.

Get one with the tech package over having the limited trim. Rear visibility is fine, I have no issues.

Got the Hyundai hybrid Premium SE model recently. (2018 -UK) Loving it. Easily the best car I have ever had. Early days but averaging 62 mpg although I did have it in the sport mode a few times which makes it feel a different car again. Have to get used to a silent car on start up. Looks stunning in the platinum silver finish and much better looking than the Prius. Dual clutch automatic super smooth.

Please educate me on how this hybrid works. What is the EV range up to until gas engine kicks in? Or is it based on how fast you drive?

quicksilver19tv because it is a hybrid it utilizes the battery to complement the engine while driving so it never gives you a full ev-experience where just the electric motor is propulsing the car. For that you would have to look at either a plug-in hybrid or a full ev, both of which is sold by Hyundai under the Ioniq brand
