I want to add, in this video you can very clearly hear the rear differential humming especially when going uphill. All of the 2016’s and 2019’s are like this.

Great ride along! I also started making more school bus ride along videos for the new year before I graduate high school. Subscribed!

@@stevenkbuses i should be uploading a video of my bus with the engine fan running this week. It’s supposed to be warm this week and it usually runs when it’s warm outside. It’s sister bus I rode last school year as a junior (bus 30 2016 ce with a Cummins isb) its fan doesn’t run as much as 31’s. I actually rode on 31 as a freshman too.

I wished the rear differential sounded like this in my bus! Sounds much louder than the 2016 I ride. The 2016 I ride has like the most silent rear differential noise in the ENTIRE FLEET and it bugs me.
@isaiahanderson723718 күн бұрын
@@southernbustransportation what’s weird is that the 2017-2023 IC CE handi buses in my district have the quietest rear axle noise ever. I think the handi buses have a 5.57 rear axle and the gen ed Cummins CE’s have a 5.87 I believe. But most of the handi CEs have the quietest rear axles ever. Idk why.

Edit: this bus is a 2017 IC CE. I initially thought that after looking a second time at the build plate. I’m not sure if my district has any Cummins CEs older than a 2017 or 2016.
