I agree. I loved the t-shirt and I really liked the pocket watch, although it did seem a bit cheaply made, but overall I thought the box was disappointing and not very good value for money. I'm gonna try it for one more month and if it's no better then I'm just going to cancel it and stick with my 2 Geek Gear HP boxes, lol xD

I think the geek gear world of wizardry one is better for value for money it would go for the geek gear one if i were to get one. Plus you can get them one off easier with geek gear, there's a new clothing one with geek gear and a special box too. So if i get a harry potter box from what iv seen i too was hoping for better and had higher expectations. wel will just have to wait and see. maybe they were just having a bad spell this month?

this box is full of exclusives that aren't really exclusive, like the two items that really should be exclusive (ie the pin and the funko) weren't and the rest of the box was full of exclusives that you could get better versions of elsewhere. When they announced this box i was so excited but now its just meh

I liked the pin and the pocket watch. The socks were good, the time turner necklace was meh because I got a nicer one from Geekgear before, I didn't like the t-shirt at all, and I agree that the pop should have been an exclusive. If you're a big enough HP fan to subscribe to a $40+ box then chances are you've probably already collected most of the common HP pops already.

I have been waiting to see if I would like this box and it hasn't hit my expectations yet. Any real HP fan would already have the pop already. The socks, shirt, and pocket watch were the only items I liked. I like the diversity of the Geek Gear HP over this one.

Hi Steph! I like your videos a lot, I started following you because I missed the first WW lootcrate box and I wanted to see some unboxings. I was disappointed since they released the theme for the second box, as soon as I heard "a matter of time" all I could think was - NO, I'M SO SICK OF TIME TURNERS! -, I actually liked their version of the time turner because it's smaller and a bit more discreet, I wasn't crazy about the Snape shirt or the Hallows watch (I feel extremely sad about the fact that I missed the first box, I really liked Fantastic beasts) but the more unboxings I see, the more I want my crate to arrive. Believe it or not, I don't have a single pop, so I'm actually looking forward to it (hopefully, I'll get Luna!). I agree about the fact that this box wasn't extremely special, but I got it with a discount on black friday so I guess I can't be mad, haha. I'm already excited for the next one since it's house pride, I guess you'll get the gryffindor one. Thanks for the video, been waiting to see yours since I started seeing spoilers on IG (didn't care because I wasn't excited about the theme, but I'm definitely staying away from them for the next crate!).

I completely agree with you. I feel most things you can find at hot topic or other stores like that, even if it's not the exact same design. Which is fine, but I was hoping for more exclusive/unique items. For the pop, I feel like most Potter fans already have most, if not all the regular pops. I also thought it felt put together very rushed, like they didn't put much effort in, which is disappointing because I was so excited for this box. I'm giving it one more chance before I decide if I want to cancel or not. Great video though!

I loved this box. The time turner necklace was awesome. I love my replica timeturner but I cant wear something so big all the time. The shirt almost made me cry. It supposed to be somber because its in conmemoration of Alan Rickman's death anniversary .

Only really good thing in this box was the pocket watch. I think loot crate knows people will buy this box just because it's Harry Potter so they don't put much effort into making it great.

I feel like this box is defiantly lacking. I have a subscription to it and ... I dont know, I want to like it but its just not hitting the mark. Waiting every other month, there should be something more badass. I know once I stop getting it, it'll change and end up good and then there will be a waiting list to contend with. The geek gear one seems to be way better imo.

I got this box and I got everything you got except the pop figurine was Luna Lovegood and I got the socks yours looks like you got the right size mine saids size 10-13 way to big for me. Idk why they gave me the wrong size

I bought the same box too, my first exclusive box from them. I was disappointed with the time turner necklace as well. I've seen many nicer high end ones out there, and I agree with you that Loot Crate could have done better. The first time turner item I got was from Geek Gear, but as a keychain. The disappointing part was that it was partially bent out of shape. I kept it though, because well it's a Harry Potter item and I don't want to complain to them since they do such a great job. I don't want to give them a hard time over a keychain. As for the pop in this box, I received one that I already have which was Sirius Black. He's one of my favorites, so it's okay. I guess that's the chance you take with 'mystery' boxes. My favorite item in this box was the same as yours, the pocket watch.

I had very similar feelings about this box. Everything was very generic and it all kind of felt like an afterthought. Like you, I was really disappointed with the Pop! figure. The ones they chose were released nearly a year ago, so there's a good chance that the people that want an item like that already have them. Given the price and then the delay in shipping, I expected much more from the box.

I was also disappointed with this box. The only thing I was really happy about was the pin. You are definitely right about the quality of the time turner. I wouldn't have paid more than a couple of dollars for that thing at a store. And I'm surprised you didn't say the socks smelled because mine sure did. Although last month and this month have been less than stellar, I still have high hopes for March's box. And as always, great review!

I got my box today and I was very pleased. :) I had high expectations too! Though maybe a little skewed because I've never really been impressed with Loot Crate boxes enough to buy them because each box is a theme with different fandoms. I loved that this box had all things HP (of course) and the only thing I was disappointed in was the time turner. I loved the shirt, funko pop figure (I got Sirius!), and pocket watch the most. I'd probably love the socks too but I imagine they won't fit my wide calves to wear on a regular basis. XD

I received my box today, and I really liked it. I was disappointed because loot crate made it seem like it was going to be house specific from their posts online. I was happy with the funko because I got Luna, and she's my second favorite character (after Neville) and I didn't have her Pop. The sock design was just okay, but I like how they fit so I don't mind. I think it was pretty cool how they sent a time turner that was different than all the other ones that come in boxes, it seems more wearable than the other ones. I liked the shirt, but I don't see myself wearing it as much as my other graphic tees; the design is really nice in my opinion. I loved the pocket watch, I actually took it off the chain and added a big clasp to hang it from my purse because I wouldn't wear it as a necklace. Lastly, I reeeeeally like the pin, it is a bit big but love the design! I agree with you about being a little underwhelmed because us Harry Potter fans have such high expectations. Also, the box was delayed so I thought it was going to be better than it actually was. That along with it not being house specific as they teased made it underwhelming, but I still enjoy the items. I'm going to stay subscribed to this box because I have the hope it will get better with customer feedback. LOOT CRATE DON'T LET US DOWN! okay, my novel is over lol.

Hi! I believe the house specific will be the 3rd one (coming out in march), they never teased anything regarding houses for this one, it's called "A matter of time", so that's why the time turner, prophecy, etc.

I was disappointed when opening it, from what I've seen the first box seemed cooler to me, mostly because of that Pigwidgeon plush. I'm going to try the next box though, quite curious about the house items. Also I just saw geekgear has this new World of Wizardry Wearable Subscription, so I just signed up to try that one as well.

I think the biggest problem is that this is the licensed box and the geek gear box is cooler... a lack of creativity is right. There are really cool licensed Harry Potter items out there and that's what I expected to see in this box. I'd want to see things that the quality of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter store items, not lower quality than stuff you find on Etsy.

I have lost count of how many time turner items I own that I did not choose to buy XD However, this one actually looks somewhat different, so I'm kind of glad it's not just another of the same. I returned this one. I'm giving them one more chance since march's box is house specific. Since I'm a guy, I can't really wear that shirt. It looks so feminine to me. Also I already have the pop so that's no use to me. The socks have the weirdest design at the top. The necklace- it's a necklace and I'm a guy. The pocket watch- I'm not from the 1800's. Finally the pin- pretty cool but not worth keeping it just for the pin

Used to live your videos, but over time I've found you to be pretty negative about of lot of stuff. In this box for instance, you were disappointed that the Pop was not a special edition and that your received lots of the same necklaces. More and more of the time you don't even open some of the products within a box instead choosing to give them away in a prize box etc. And strangely, you seem to have rather sensitive nose, lots of stuff smell strange to you. I watch lots of people do unboxings and I've never come across some one so negative. I really believe you need to just purchase boxes that your fully interested in, that way you'll show a lot more enthusiasm. Really sorry to moan, you were one of the first unboxers I started following on here and I watched your videos religiously. Keep smiling and keep doing what makes you happy. Peace out

+Charlie Chimney when companies talk up their box and label it with JK Rowling's name, there is a certain expectation involved there (especially with loot Crate, who is probably the most well known company of all sub boxes). I have expectations that they will give us good quality boxes for what they are charging. When they start coming out with as many boxes as hey have been but can't keep the level of quality high, I take issue with that. I love Harry Potter and because of that, this box was extremely disappointing. Could you imagine receiving a box that has items that you received in a different box 6+ months prior? I have a duty to be honest with how I feel about these boxes. I'm sure you would hate me if I loved every single item from every single box. These boxes trick consumers enough, I don't need to help that cause. Do you think this box was really good? Would you be happy with it if you pay $40?

Nerdy Newb: I totally agree. Greatful for honesty. If they would put as much effort into this box as they do for Star Wars fans (or the FANTASTIC Pusheen boxes ;-)) there would be no issue. I am finding it hard to believe that JK is actually involved. There are better/more creative Harry Potter subscription boxes out there. At the very least, they should have an ACTUAL Harry Potter fan leading the team who understands that true Harry Potter fans (working-class folks buying this box) already have at least one licensed house scarf, wand, Time Turner and Deathly Hallows symbol. I expected potions, butter beer, luna glasses, Fantastic Beasts, fan art, inside Harry Potter jokes, an insert with fun facts/links to exclusives on Pottermore, etc when I purchased a product with her name on it. Each item should be exclusive- not found on Amazon or in Target/Hot Topic. Shirt colors other than black would be cool too (or a hoodie). Also, why the pins? Who wears them?! This is JK's box not a traditional Loot Crate. How about a quill/bookmark? Be creative! Show a little effort/pride! She has taught us to seek out the extraordinary in the ordinary. It's hard to do that with this crate...

I opened mine today and I was also underwhelmed. I like this shirt better than last month's but I MUCH prefer the GeekGear shirts. I love bright colors, so that probably helps, but they have also had some creative ones. I liked the socks and the pocket watch and I felt the same way about the necklace that you did. I kind of like the pin but I had to be told what it was, it isn't obvious from the design. I also received Hermione, who is one of my favorite characters, so that was nice. I do think a lot of people who get this box already collected these pops, though, so I don't know what they were thinking. Its clearly apparent that they do not care as much as Geek Gear does, so I cancelled my subscription to this box and am going to stick with Geek Gear.

J.R. andrade some shirts are priced differently at different stores, like at hot topic it would be $20 but at Walmart it would be like $10 or even cheaper.
