The rear roof line is lovely, but it dives into a sedan rear trunk that winds up oddly tall and cumbersome. The front end is beautifully detailed, but hulking and brutish in overall effect. The side profile is overheightened sedan. It has pieces of beautiful cars glued together onto a raised platform, just to be different I guess...beautiful it ain't.

The roofline looks like a coupe. But I agree any 4 door vehicle should not be a coupe.

The point? 1. You want a better handling and gripping version of the GLE SUV 2. You don't haul big boxes of cargo but still want the same floor space of the GLE SUV (and 60 cu ft of capacity). Your dogs don't care about the headroom at the very tail end. 3. You want a nice looking vehicle that is different. 4. You want to tow something once in a while. 5. And, with the AMG, you want to go fast. It's not for everyone. But own enough nice cars and live long enough and you will crave something different than the choice of either sedan, coupe, or traditional 3 box SUV. The GLC version is probably a better all round choice.

This and the GLC coupe are horrible. The GLE is outdated. It needs to be up to par with the new E Class. The Interior looks horrible.

Love the V8 but..about the taste, in Europe are cars for slavic gypsy with drug or germans..firsts black, germans yellow

A shame all of that performance and soooo ugly. The best looking SUVs in my opinion are the Durango and Grand Cherokee SRTs
