I had the SE premium version of this when I was doing airport pick ups and chauffeuring. Beautiful car, loved it. I think in hindsight I would have loved the 3 litre AMG line version but the 220d was perfectly adequate

I own on of these. You didn't say if your car was on air suspension, or also on those terrible stiff run flats? Makes a big difference to the ride quality. MB shouldn't waste so much money on self parking, which most people, including myself, are too scared to use.

if it had air suspension I would have mentioned it, the ride is great so no problem with the tyres even if they are runflats (which i hate) and the Self Parking is an extra cost option so not part of the standard spec and its. the customers who waste their money on the self paring, if they can park ok, if they cant its probably the best money theyve ever spent 😂

I also own one, but with the two wide screens so digital dash. They all have airshocks in the rear for self leveling and standard shocks up the front. Optional airmatic and 4matic. The run flats are standard on the 20" wheels and make the ride harsh you feel everything. I did have those 19" which might not look as good as my 20" turbines but the ride was better. I'm planning on ditching my 20" runflat Goodyear tires for sport contact or something similar.

@@BarrieCrampton Great video, I own one of these are very good cars I think, I have used the self park a few times when it has been really tricky and it has not curbed the 20-inch rims yet normally it leave quite a gap from the curb. Feels so odd trusting it to park but as worked flawlessly everytime I use it, but I do prefer to park myself using the 360-degree cameras makes it use. I've done some long drive from the west coast of Spain right up into southern France and managed (683 miles) 1100 km from a full tank, fully loaded not bad at all!

I prefer the Range Rover Sport to everything except a Bentley Continental GT, and even then i prefer the driving position of the Range Rover 😂
