Can't remember the colour (but I've got a picture somewhere). I remember that it cornered beautifully, was comfortable, and had plenty of power. Oh yes!

@@CarSpyTV :D I had my first experience as a passenger of a mk4 the other day. I think you should take one for a spin next time. They feel very upmarket, even in the lower spec. I would love to experience the superb. I was a sporty variant the other day, in a yellow green, with black detailing. Stunning car

Nice review Matt, thanks. The base 'S' UK trim was basically the same but it came with leather steering wheel and alloys. It would be unheard of for a car in this segment not to, but suprisingly it still had manual rear windows.
