When and where was this? When is the next one? I'm in north Texas and I'd like to attend!

surely there must be some multi layered steel being made as it looks like a lot of bigger hammering on large billets for a Razor blank, great work guys look forward to seeing the end results

You are right, most of that hammering was on small multi layered billets.

Where did you guys get the anvils you are using and how are they so quiet?

Jake Akers - I know Charlie made them from 4140 steel, but I am also wondering how he mounted them to be so quiet 😮.. I have a 11" long, 4"X4" square, heat treated post anvil made of 4140 as well that I'm trying to figure out how to mount in a way that makes it as quiet as possible, due to where I live... Any tips Charlie?!

I put the solid part in a tube, it is setting on pea gravel, with wedges on the side. The pea sized gravel dampens a lot of noise and makes a good base for the anvil portion to rest on.

The metal for the anvils was scrounged from scrap yards, lots of looking around.
