2017 Ram 1500 NIGHT edition. A few specs... 5.7hemi, 3.92 gears, and limited slip diff. Exact same spec as an R/T PERFORMANCE wise, but with the difference on the APPEARANCE of the truck, hence all the blacked out features. I have a 17 f150 regular cab, and I have to admit that even when I was shopping, I could say the Dodge regular cabs looked much nicer by far! It’s just that the particular ones I was looking at had less features and a lower engine than the f150 I eventually purchased. If I seen a Dodge with the center console and touch screen like yours, it would have gone a different way.

Got a 2013 White/Single Cab HEMI. Last year they put the shifter in with push button shifter. It flys! Get the cold air intake and the catback exhaust and pump up that power.

If you put the truck in tow haul MDS wont kick in. Its like that on the 5/6 speed truck so I am pretty sure it will work on the 8 speed.

If you dont own a ram dont talk about the dial shifter its what makes us ram owners unique not like the rest of the trucks ford chevy gmc still have that lame old stick shift i like it and i would not want them to change it

For work I drive a F-450 with the column shifter. For two days I drove a Ram 1500 Classic while my Challenger was in the shop and I kept reaching for a shifter. If I drove the Ram for a week I’d be used to the dial shifter.

Getting back to you a little late on this one brother but I am absolutely in love with the regular cab especially considering I don't have a full family to carry, just me and my girl! I've always loved the single cabs over the 4 doors but if you need the space then a 4 door is the way to go.

Can I please get a Opinion I bought a fire red 2014 ram Express 4 x 4 hemi Single cab with about 40,000 miles for 20,000-25,000 after warranty I added. she came with a $1700 hardtop Undercover as well from the dealership it has the 20 inch chrome rims with that plastic chrome cover. Fooled me but it doesn’t have the projectors for the LEDs or the touchscreen but I’m working on those just trying to get a second opinion

I agree with califaern3sto, get your self a ram regular cab, beautiful trucks man and they make a ton of power if you opt for the 5.7 hemi (which we all know is a must have) but yeah, I would totally recommend this truck, I have loved it and you can opt for the express or the sport Reg cab depending on your budget! Hope this helps

you can turn off the eco mode on the settings

Actually if you turn it off in the settings on the touchscreen, it just turns off the 'Eco' light from popping up on the dash, I've tried this already, sadly the only way to truly turn it off is by a tune or programmer like the diablo trinity. Or you can do the gears trick which turns it off but resets it everytime you put it in park. (which is kinda annoying)

on the steering wheel, try pressing the " - Gear " once then "+ Gear" until you see it go up to "+8". This keeps it from going into ECO mode on my '14 Ram RT.

So, just so everyone is aware, the frickin AWESOME 2019 Ram will have a regular cab a few months after the crew/ double cabs are released. They are moving Regular Cab and HD production from Mexico back to Michigan. So yeah our regular cabs will be American again! Getting a 19 RCSB
