Love the new body style of the Ridgeline. They look like a truck now. The older models' appearance kept me from buying one. The NHTSA.gov ratings show that the Pilot and the Ridgeline are very safe.

Does LEER offer the locker option for the Ridgeline? Like the rifle drawer that goes on top of the shell? Or does ARE have something like that?

I dont know about leer we are not a leer dealer- I think the bed is to short for the locker ???

I’m Try to possibly pull that idea on my gen1 ridgeline and they have 3 sizes for the locker cap pack sport

The ridge lines have leak issue having to do with the bed not the shell

I just had the same model ARE cap installed on my 2019 Ridgeline and it leaks like a sieve! Mostly in the front section. It's got to be the gasket between the cap and truck bed. When it warms up spring of 19' I am going to lift the front and install more gasket material or something different. Not very happy about this horrible leak right now!

Is the fit better on the G2 Ridgeline (after 17-22) than on the G1 (06-15) in terms of leakage, installation time, and ease of use?

Yes much better has a front like all shells do the old body had no real front just sat over the cab tough to seal and not really removable with out have to reseal every time

This is what turns be off from buying from certain business/dealerships...they can’t give you a price, it’s different for everyone...whatever they can suckers you for. It’s a truck cab...sure there are different add-ons etc., but you could list the price with various options...and then your install fee.

Be careful with the Leer, first ones I've seen don't color match the truck well. Both look pretty good but in my opinion but I'd rather go with the ARE as it doesn't have that strange protrusion toward the cab. No the color match was pretty good-other than pearls change shades at different angles even on the truck
