Great video! But you have to experience the ride to really appreciate his comments. My husband and I talk about our ride last year to whomever will listen for the second, third or fifteenth time. It was an AWESOME experience. One we will repeat as often as we can, including this year, 2017.

This was our bucket list item and very glad we did it.Everyone was like family and Cities,towns turned out to cheer and support the Veterans. Everyone should do this at least once in their lifetime

let me start off by saying that my wife and I are both veteran's. My wife 100% disabled, and I am her caregiver. I have served and fought on the front lines, thus my Bronze Star metal. I am excited to see your cause but experienced an unsafe situation on I-40 today while traveling through Arizona. I would guess that there was a group of about 60 of your riders traveling together. I was stuck behind the group for about 10 miles. I made a few attempts to pass but was forced behind them a few times. I finally seen a clearing in the slow lane that I believe was sufficient to pass the group, however, when I approached the front, they sped up, preventing me from passing. Frustrated and not interested in falling back to the rear, I signaled to merge over in a space, which the riders closed as I merged over. One got so close that they were forced on to the shoulder. Then the rider rode so close to the driver's side rear of my car that they probably could smell my body odor, mind you, this is at 70+ mph. Thanks for your support, but please encourage the riders to practice safety and some courtesy. Thank you.

I was hoping to make the run this yr. Sometimes things just don't work out. Hope I am able to make the run soon, while I am still young. I got out in 1975.

klo827 I plan on going on this next year. I am working on getting some heated gear for me for long rides now, and getting a CB Radio soon, as well as a motorcycle trailer. I am a U.S. Navy veteran, and look forward to going on this next year from Arkansas.
