Suzuki GS150 SE is Suzuki's higher trim of their GS150 model. With several additional features missing in the original base trim of Suzuki GS150, this bike costs about Rs. 25,000 PKR more than the standard GS150. In this Part 1 of a multi-part video on Suzuki GS150, its capabilities and features, issues and resolution , I discuss each of the features of the SE trim and what problems are still there in this bike. A short ride to provide an understanding of how it feels while riding the bike and what could be done to make it better.

@@razaehtisham2567 Still don't regret my decision of buying it back in 2016. But bhai suzuki ki monopoly hay yeh bike achi hay but 207k ki nahi hay. Market may aur achay options agay hain jesay k honda cb150f ya suzuki gr150 aur yeh bhi suna hay k yamaha bhi 150cc may koi bike launch kernay wala hay. I would recommend k aap khud achi tarha research kerlain takay regret na ho baad may. aur bike/car ki prices are skyrocketing pata nahi kio. jo bhi logay nuqsan to nahi honay wala :D

(1) I don't know how, a 5 inch long crowbar rigged by rear wheel, ripping off the tire, but the wheel was absolutely fine! (2) I have a different experience with stock headlights (3) there is only plastic sound I can hear instead of engine vibrating, though it could be because I weigh round 95 kilos (4) Its wiring is a killer, it shocked me several time, even I remember I could not go to my office as my bike did not start the entire day (5) My GS150SE is giving me somewhere around 40-43 km/l, while riding it between 60 and 70 km/h (6) I wish GS150SE had a digital meter, I can't forget that day when my better half was getting late from her work and I rode my bike to her full from Johar Town to Garden town and by chance I gazed the speed-o-meter it was like ramming the topspeed pin. Well, wonderful review!

*Asif Raza* As I don't speak the language, only English, what were the issues?. I could only catch a little of what he was saying when he would break to English. I'm very interested in buying this model, or should say the 2018/19 model, because the chrome exhaust and muffler, together with decent looking instruments and a large headlight are features that appeal to me. Looking at those other models with a matt black exhaust system, give me the impression that they'd be hard to clean and keep clean. I'll be retiring to the Philippines soon and whilst I rode big bikes in another lifetime, like near 40 years ago, I think it's only prudent to start again on the less powerful and light weight models. Besides, I'm no fan of today's current crop of Honda, Kawasaki, and Suzuki big bikes, that have that upswept look styling and I'm sure those drop down handle bars, would surely have my lower back screaming for mercy. In fact the only big bike/s that truly appeals, is the 2018 Triumph Bonneville 100/120 models, or the retro look W 800 five hundred, based on the Kawasaki . As my last big bike all those years ago was a 1964 Bonny, these latest Triumphs would have to be the greatest compliment to that era, recognizing a style that is somehow timeless. Anyhow, my apologies for this long drawn out comment. Thanks in advance, if you can clear up what problems there might be with the GS 150 I'd truly appreciate it. Cheers, ride safe...

@David Hamilton No problem sir and sorry for late reply i never got notification for reply my bad.. The problem he singled out 1. The stock tires on this bike lacks road grip 2. The head light is worst in 150cc category 3. Seat is very hard and uncomfortable 4. The bike vibrate over 80km/h due to bad engine bolting and lacks single axis balancer thats why rider feel vibration in handle bar and seat. 5. Electric wiring has issues due to quality control on behalf of paksuzuki I dont think international version of this bike got above issues because Paksuzuki is well known and notorious for quality controll. Salam. I am regular viewer and it helps a lot, I have bought Suzuki 150 Gs simple. As you said the front tire is not upto mark I have observed the same. I have replaced the rear tire with 100-90-18 servis tire same as deluxe but wider. What should I do for front tire I also want to replace it. secondly I also want to know that whether bigger tire effects the performance of bike or not. Also give your comment on the rear tire and suggestion for front tire. Regards

Just love your videos so need a sincere suggestion from you as to which bike should I buy, gs150 2012/13 model or ybz125 2018/19 model? Gs150 is costing me 65k in good condition while ybz125 is at 100k. My first most concern is comfort and then fuel economy, maintenance.. Obviously I have budget constraint that's why can buy used bike.

Yara aik question hai. Yara mera abhi pehla experience hai disk brake kay sath on my gs 150se. Yara maine full wash karwai hai but smj nhi arha brakes pakar nhi rahin. You know what i mean brakes nhi lag rahin. Kya ye temporarily hai like k brake pads ya disk geelay hogae hain ya aisa kuch because on simple gs, after wash uski agli brake mai jhatkay ajatay hain but ismai tou ulat scene hogaya lag hi nhi rhi . front disk ki baat karrhahun

Those gs owners who are facing top speed problem in their gs 150, means their gs cannot go above 90km mark.this issue is due to low current towards spark plug.so to resolve this issue u need to check following things in your bike.no 1 your battery must be in perfect condition with enough water in it .check batt terminals,there must be no rust on them both current and earth.no 2 check your rectifier,that must not be overheating after u start bike early morning.overheating rectifier will give weak current towards cdi unit and damages cdi unit.when cdi unit gets weak due to over heating rectifier, it will damage the ignition coil too.when ignition coil gets faulty, it will give less current towards spark plug and your gs in such condition will hardly touch 90 km mark. this issue is very comman in gs 150.even brand new zero meter gs 150 has current issue in their bikes and their bike power ends up at 90 or 95 km mark and cg boys make fun of them.so gs owners make sure that your battery,rectifier,cdi unit and ignition coil are in perfect 100% condition.if these things are perfect your gs will easily and quickly touch 118, 120 km mark .and then cg boys wont even come near to your gs 150.perfect current will give u super fast accelaration and better top speed.gs 150 engine is perfect best engine for both drag racing and touring.

Assalamu Alikum sab logon ko Me apni gs150se k lye koi muffler dhondra tha mjhe bht teez awaz nahi chahye bus normal si but mne jitna dhonda tareban sab hi ki awaz teez thi ya chbhne wali thi kiai 70cc k alter silencer jesi. Kafi search krne k baad mujhe road prince wego 150 ka stock silencer pasamd aya sound k lehaz say kafi smoth or acha sound hai. Ap sab ka kya khayal hai? Kuch idea kahan se mil sakta hai mjhe muffler wego ka? Or ek sawal ky muffler lagane se bike me koi farq ata hai? Jazak Allah khair.. :)

+Mr. Usmani ybr is very weak compared to gs150. Issi liyay double sawari per ybr really struggles in the northern areas and higjer altitudes. GS is the king there

I don't have a Scale to measure the size of difference, but of course there's a lot of difference. Real Life mileage is between 38 - 46 km/liter.
