I would stick with the Cranberry Bone personally. Ebony is pretty much found on every knife out there. Cranberry bone is a little bit more unique. Always nice to have something different in the collection.

You better keep some oil on them. 1095,,they will rust and pit quicker than you Viper did. If you have high acidity in your skin, they'll go pretty quick, if you use them.

Yes I give them a good helping of mineral oil now before putting them away

You may know this now but folks in audience may not...neither of these is a "Tom's Choice" Barlow as only the TCs with clip blades are "Tom's Choice. " Both of these have sheepfoot blades....making them "Sheepfoot Barlows" as pin implies. The "TC" stands for "Tidioute Cutlery" ... still beautiful knives just not Tom's Choice.
