My 2014" looks better with the Mapisa body kit. Toyota did a good job on the 14-16. The front of the 16" is now looking like a Prius. Best upgrade were the Dual Light emitting diode headlights.

personally,, I don't like the front grill ( bumper ) ,, front look of it, I do dig for the fog lights and for the interior not much change, compare to my 2015 Corolla S ( they really saved a lot of the previous parts ) from the 2014 -16 model to this one. They should change the tech in a more styling on the interior and the better looking rear tail lights and a better looking door panels ,, then using older parts from the pervious models.. I think new models usually come out during a certain time of the year. Once every two years. Plus many reveal it several months ahead. Do some research next time if a model is being updated. And even then your car doesn't change. You chose the car you wanted. From a business view less people interested with the same car equals less sales if cars are not updated. Once every 2 years is the usual time for a new model. No car or anything in life stays on top of its class that long. Your car had its time. You should have known this was coming anyway.

i know exactly what you're talking about. Typically it used to be the lifespan of a car is about 5-7 yrs. Every 3 yrs a refresh happens and around year 5 or 6 a new model comes out. They are changing that because what they want now is to keep the car updated as possible so more people go out and buy it

The ultimate failure. Take a 10 year old Corolla with "moderate looks" and put a new futuristic bumper on the front. Not only does it look stupid, it also has poor driving dynamics. Just wait until your not paying attention and roll into the car ahead of you. That weird front bumper and hood will cost you your life savings to fix. I'm surprised that insurance companies put up with these new bumpers...
