@@caymandiver75eBay Canadian seller. Already installed it and works great. I’m also using carlinkit 5.0 for wireless connection. Yes it’s a little expensive just to have CarPlay, but for me it’s worth it👍🏼

What about audio controls and all that? Is there a CarPlay interface on the newer head unit? Does Siri work without delay?

Yes everything works. Just make sure you match the jbl or non jbl unit from your old radio.

Hey by any chance would you know why my prius prime 2017 audio wont came from speaker even when its connect to BT or if its in AM or FM there is no sound coming i try holding the mode button to mute and unmute but it doesnt display to show me if that button even works when i try to increase or decrease the volume that does not display when i cilck on it by any chance would you know why

If you have jbl radio then your speaker amp has become faulty. Check fuses for it. If it’s non jbl then something wrong with the radio.

@@sarvidec I do have a jbl radio I check fuse 10 amp the fuse was okay is there fuse I need to check under the steering wheel?

@@Habibi_vq YeA then your speaker amplifier is faulty. Check the connector for power and ground. If it’s not getting power then it’s a fuse. If it’s getting power then the unit is faulty

Does this include android auto, or is it just apple carplay?

Most of the years only have carplay. Toyota missed the mark and tried to do their own software bullshit (toyota Entune) and it basically sucked and failed, so they went to Carplay. IIRC it wasn't until 2021 they added android auto, and I think only on the 7" models, not on the 11.7" models... That being said, I'm looking at devices that convert Android Auto to Apple Carplay. There's apparently a few devices that are capable of doing so. It seems hit or miss though.
