There are a lot of POV videos of different "action" sports out there, but this one got my attention. I found myself leaning left and right around the berms and thinking, oh, I'm in second here and in fourth in this race and then up to third, oh, I qualified. I knew the feeling and it took me back. I got back into racing BMX in my early 40's (Redline Cruiser). I raced for about 5 years and stopped but continued to ride for the fun of it. 7 years ago, I endoed on my bike and hit the sidewalk headfirst causing a Spinal Cord Injury (SCI). Similar to Sam Willoughby except I'm paralyzed from my chest, down. I"m involved in adaptive sports and ride a handcycle now. It's not the same as my Redline but it's the next best thing. I race vicariously through these POV videos. I enjoyed your video. Keep pedaling.

Purpose of brakes: to slow down AFTER you cross the line...not on the track ! LOL. Great job Niek u sure killed it out there racing with the big dogs.

Abi Kubilis if they didn’t hit their brakes at that speed, they would crash. I think the best of the sport know what they are doing 😂

NotMyFault They say Moto as in the race. Moto 1, Moto 2, etc. Which basically mean race 1, race 2. Then they move on to quarters or semis depending on how many riders there are. Or they use Moto to see your race and who you'll be racing with all the information about your race.

Bmx has gotten so sad Tracks are so fast that once you make the first turn the race is essentially won. I don’t think there was a pass for the lead in a single race shown here. If they’re gonna have the tracks be that fast and free ,throw more doubles at em so they aren’t just manualing over rollers.
