2017 Volkswagen Tiguan oil light/service reset.

Thank you. I just purchased a 2017 Tiguan and noticed the change oil now light. So I took it in and paid about 65$ to have an oil change. Two days later I realized the oil message again and it dawned on me that the oil change message had not been reset. Further investigation revealed that I had changed my oil prematurely and wasted 65 bucks. Wish I had seen this video before wasting my money. I guess it must not be real easy to figure out, because 2 consecutive lube shops haven’t been able to reset it. So thanks. Very helpful.

Thank you! And I learned that pressing the Hazzard button then the set button and turn the key brings up the Reset Inspection!

Thanks!! After I reset the oil reminder, I was trying all kinds of random stuff to try and reset the inspection reminder. I never would have thought to turn on the hazard lights in a million years!
