Starting around the 6th frame of the final match, an audience member in the top stands was having medical problems. By the 9th frame, paramedics had arrived and were administering treatment. They were being quite loud as well as the audience member who was in some pain. That is what distracted Kent in the 9th frame. You can hear mild sobs from the audience and can see people in the lower stands looking up to see what was happening.

Awesome season for Belmo. I'm glad he's back on top and in competition again. He's the Tiger Woods of bowling (when Tiger was Tiger of course). Without him being in contention and on Telecasts, bowling loses TV ratings. There are a lot of excellent bowlers but he, just like Tiger used to, makes if fun to watch bowling.

This wasn't a sanctioned event. No PBA titles earned. There's also a scoring system that works like golf... 1 for a strike, 2 for a spare, 3 for a whiff. Low score wins.

Phytes no it’s just part of the swing. Some people do it because they hit the ball up so hard (to get revolutions). It’s usually done, however, because it feels natural to swing multiple times rather than just hold it up there, unless you are a two hander

He is going through, what EJ Tackett went through, before becoming a superstar. Time will tell, if Marshall Kent will become a player of that caliber someday. I hate to say it, but mentally I think Kent does not have what it takes, to win a lot of PBA Tour titles, not to mention majors. He never looked convincing against Svensson either and when he had to throw a good frame against Belmonte, whoops brooklyn hit out of nowhere and a missed single pin conversion. I have seen Marchoke Kent, I mean Marshall Kent struggle to finish in TV shows so many times that I almost feel sorry for that man.

The scoring system is so dumb. Sure it might be easier for people who new to the sport, but as far as I know WBT is the only thing that uses this, so they are going to have to somewhat know the traditional system regardless, and the traditional system makes it a littler harder to throw higher scores which puts in a little challenge and in my opinion, makes it more fun especially sense the 10th frame can really make or break your score.
