2018.12.22 Tsukuba Time Attack - スーパータイムアタックバトル 筑波

Super Time Attack Battle Rd. 5 at Tsukuba Circuit, hosted by Zummy Racing Family.
This event featured numerous Attack Tsukuba regulars, coming out in preparation for the main event, Attack Tsukuba in February 2019.
Temperatures were in the 5 degrees Celcius range but due to unexpected rain in the early morning, the first Super Lap session of the day saw the track surface still wet.
Luckily, the course had dried up later in the morning and many entrants managed to hit new personal best lap time.
There was also a big crash this day of one of the top runners at Tsukuba.

当日は早朝に降った雨の影響で、本来なら朝一のスーパーラップが最高条件なハズが、この日は路面がウェット。。。
それでも、2回目のスーパーラップまでは路面も乾き、多くの参加車がベストを更新しました。

Can't wait till the February event. Wil from pz tuning is coming up from Canada! He competes in our North American series gridlife/GTA. Will be cool to see what it turns up for the laptime, along with the JDMYard Civic! :D :D

​@@ShuBoxInc I don't know why but I always forget you're this into Time Attack. I race at Mission too ..when I can. I have an R32 and I'm saving up to finish my own time attack build. Obviously we don't have much of a place for full aero in the SCCBC - but that won't stop me. Have you heard of Marzialli's E36 - the Knox Mtn. King of the Hill? He beat Wouter Bouman's 20b FD last year. From what I can tell it was mostly from Aero grip since he's around 600hp vs 900+. It's the closest thing to a time attack car we have in western Canada IMO. I'd like to see it run a lap at Mission. Thanks for the coverage.

I wonder, what would be the fastest street legal car on Tsukuba and which would be the requirements to remain street legal? I imagine Emissions (Gas and Sound) as well as Bodywork larger than the original dimensions would be sure to make a car non-road legal, but are there also other requirements like each part having to be approved etc. ?
