Rich, I know these videos take time, energy, money...all of it. Just really want to thank you for it. I appreciate the meaningful information. Tie down has always been something that really has to be done right. Thank you.

I absolutely appreciate it. When I get comments like this it is worth every bit of it. I also learn so much in this comment section from the motorcycle community. I am truly a novice at this stuff. The wife and I hope that as we learn we can share what we learn on this fun journey back to riding. I am having a blast returning to riding. Thank you so much. Ride safe.

Rich… thx again for your videos. Only you and Traxxion have put drop guards on KZbin. National Cycles has what they call highway bars but not labeled as drop guards? Anyway I know there’s concern about mounting to sub frame, but the ones you have shown have been actually tested, not dropped, but while actually in motion. And now your using them to tie down, that company needs to send you some $$$$$!

Rich, good video. It’s always a challenge to properly tie down a 850+ lb bike so it won’t move. Thanks for sharing how you did it!

Thanks Tim. It is always a challenge. My gold is to find ways to simplify it. Thanks brother for watching. Ride safe.

Thanks you for watching. I am hoping for better bars but for now, this works for me. A disclaimer. It might not work for everyone. Appreciate you. Ride safe.

Thanks for the video but not fully convinced and happy with the two places under the bike, they look weak for what they are required to do.

Your welcome and I understand. You might have a valid concern but for me it works great. I believe that area serves as more of a support point than main pressure points. Balance pressure seems to be important. Through the mountains valleys and twisties from Florida through the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee. It’s been tested. Thanks for chiming in and watching. Ride safe.

So Rich, you used 2ea. Longest bolts and spacers and one short spacer? The bolt on rear brake side you went out and bought? I’m assuming there’s one in bag that came in with bars for replacing factory bolt- but longer, because now your using spacer?

I'm a new subscriber to your channel. Thanks for the awesome video. Sir will you please tell me where you purchased the foot pedal that you installed on your protection bars. Thanks again Also I have invested in 2 inch Retractable straps on Amazon for my motorcycle. They are the best

I absolutely like the Tank straps Tiedown. Really easy to use. I Bought them the Highway Pegs on Amazon. www.amazon.com/cart?ref_=sw_gtc. They took plenty of modifications to make them work. I keep getting questions about them so I will try to do a video about what I did to make them work. King SHowden foot Pegs on Amazon. Thanks for watching. Hope this helps.

I am 82 and still love to ride. I bought the 2018 but to me, it is too fragile. Drop it and it is too costly. You can't tie it down using the steering or the front end like I did the 2016, in the trailer. Love what you have done. I will try to find the crash bars you have. I can't do parking lot practice until then. Too costly.

82 and still enjoying some throttle therapy. I can’t disagree with you on that. The drop guards have worked wonders for me. They might not be pretty but they’re effective. I hope to be still riding at 80. Thanks for watching and ride safe.
