Some legends dont have the stats, yet they are legends for a reason. Even though Alonso has not won many WDC as he should, he potrays that sometimes the driver can push the limits of the car and it's not always about the car. Winning a WDC takes a champion level team, car and driver. But Alonso is champion level driver for sure. As a Alonso fan, the triple crown is at his fingertips. What? it lasted one season and destroyed a team and wasn't great at all. Both drivers also won less races than the WDC winner Kimi, despite having bulletproof reliability. Alonso resorted to petty blackmail inside a team (should have been punished) and stupidly cracked under pressure. Great rivalries push drivers to new heights. In 2007 Alonso just showed what a bad attitude he had when a rookie challenged him and he tried to bring the team down instead of rising above. It was actually sad. Not great. Hakkinen vs Schumacher was great.

Exactly... Ferrari was fast enough. They lost because of shit team decisions and a driver that is prone to crack under pressure. I said it before, Ferrari has bet on the wrong horse... they have Kimi and this season he has shown to be faster and more collected than Vettel... but they simply did not allow him to go for it.

Awsome conference. Probably the best until now. Talks about Memories, old rivalries, new perspectives for 2019, incidents and lots of laughs. But there are too many cuts in this video. I can say in the name of all F1 fans that we want to see more of the drivers reactions to the questions asked. Or is it just me. Come on F1 media, you can do better for your fans.
