I listened again to this video and was even more impressed by all. Andrea was great on the sax and vocal, Ignasi Terraza was, as usual, outstanding and the unheralded and steady Abril on the drums along with Joan complete this very fine performance.

Oh boy, what a magnificent group and performance. The Motis sisters' solos are great, but Ignasi Terraza's piano solo even more so. Abril Sauri on drums is simply stellar. I can't stop admiring her tight playing and groove.

I thought that in this video Carla seemed much more relaxed than usual without losing the quality of her musicianship. I believe it is another step in her becoming recognised as the world class guitarist that she is becoming. It was also great to hear Andrea proving how good a saxophonist she is.

Slip sliding and flying out to the edge and back. Great performances Carla and Andrea, Love the rich tone of your voice. Abril also just flying along with the beat, really rocking...playing at top notch level....but in this one I'll Highlight (for my personal experience) Ignasi's Impeccable Performance...mobile interpretation, up tempo, while remaining tied to the melody, carried me along. A wonderfully energetic performance where all participants are 'of one mind', binding together rhythm and harmony ... evoking some of the excitement of the way jazz was diverging in the 1960s. Carla is the epitome of 'cool' here - proving that you don't have to be overtly animated to provide the desired sound.
