Is it me or is there a really bad delay when the throttle is mashed from standstill, my 2017 272PS seems to respond so much quicker.

youre right, there is a bad delay but if you push the break pedal and accelerator at the same time an flip the break you have a kind of launch control start. This is the beast way to get a good Acceleration

Its a speed warning. You can set this by yourself if you have for example winter tires. When you reach this speed it warns you to slow down.
