I just got this car and it's just incredible. I waited until the arrival of x3m but I didn't feel the need to spend 20k more. I mean how much more power do you need? M40i is already so fast that I can barely handle at its maximum capacity.

Waiting on my m40i now. Even on my old 20d 2016 model I couldn’t take the car to its limits in london. And believe me i tried, it handled every corner I threw at it

I don' think this has twin turbo, not even in M. All models of X3 have inline 4 or 6 cylinders with single turbo. No?

Nope! Even 2019 M40i X3 has single turbocharger with twin scroll. Same name, same trick, same confusion. I just checked on their website.

For anyone who's committed to buying this car but torn on which color to get... please go see the Phytonic Blue is person before ordering it in that color!! It looks so much different in the flesh. I hate it. It's a dull dark blue. Comes to life in direct sunlight but even then, not all that great. In my opinion that is. I got white. White or black = classic bimmer colors.

ITs just a matter of taste. I went to see in person the color in a dark place and in the sun. And I loved it. In dark, tends to look black, and when the sun comes out, it shines amazing

@@d20207 Agreed. I've always liked white cars so I went to check out a white M40i that was sitting next to a phytonic blue m40i. I went home with the blue one. Phytonic Blue with Cognac Leather.

I ordered the carbon black but as soon as I saw the white one in person... my heart just dropped. Omg! what a beautiful car showing all of the great fine details so well. The dealer let me change and I am now the owner of the sexiest car on the block. Python blue? Even at its best it's just an old person's suv... meh

BMW makes you pay extra for literally everything. The base model comes with two seats and a wheel only. I'm from Germany and here 90% of the new BMWs are sold to big Leasing companies.

Only put the dog in for the views. Unfortunate, too because the dogs life is at risk. If you wouldn't allow a small child to ride in the vehicle without being fastened then you shouldn't allow an animal to do the same. Pet owners are cruel and will always justify their actions. Just watch 👀

I certainly appreciate your concern. I was fully aware of my dog being in the car in the front seat as I did the review. I always do my best to drive as safely as possible when I do my car review videos and was more than careful when I did this review with Max. He was family to me for about 13 years so please don't think I'm just doing this just for views and to be cruel. I was simply trying to bring some humor and fun to our video and Max was happy to oblige by riding along with me on that day. I'm so happy he did because he had canine cancer and we had to put him to "sleep" within about four months of this video. So this was his loving and last gift to me that I can enjoy from time to time, remembering what a great dog, friend and family member he was. I miss him so much you have no idea...:( Steve
