sounds like one bass, one snare, and one tenor. thats how good it is.

Proof of consistent playing zones, beautiful. Even on stands, proper height adjustment.

AznAfroMan513 and you thought stryke was the best last year? They couldn’t even play a hand to hand for 2 bars... every video of their lot they kept dirting out

it was lit tho my guy. who had your fav bassline last year
@magyblah31666 жыл бұрын
tbh there was no good WGI bassline last year. If I HAD to pick my "favorite" it would probably be Pulse, but again I don't think WGI 2017 was an amzing year for the bass drumming world.

Great video of the top bass... hard to tell how good they are because i can’t hear any balance from this angle. Good rhythms like any other bassline but balance and articulation is what makes a line stand out.
@BASSDRUMGROUP6 жыл бұрын
Magy Blah Hard to get a good angle without getting into their arc and invading their space. Ultimately they're there to prepare for a performance, not film a video, and I'm trying to respect that ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@magyblah31666 жыл бұрын
I respect that and I respect your content! I think the video is edited well and maintains an aesthetic that is unmatched in any other bass drum video out there. I just think bass drum videos are inherently not going to sound the way they do in real life, moreso than any battery section. And I'm sure it's difficult to find the right angle in full battery lots that both picks up the entire bassline and doesn't intrude on their space.

Sweet beats. I just don’t like the look of their technique. Too much arm and not enough wrist rotation. But I’m an old school late 90s bass guy.
@warrior9956 жыл бұрын
Well, they play wrist break, not wrist rotation. BDG actually has a good video explaining the differences between the two.
