I bought a 2018 Buick Encore. Lots of room, I am 6’6”. Beautiful interior, big touch screen and Apple CarPlay on a base model. Sold!

How is the reliability 2-3 years into ownership? No mechanical/electrical issues? I am thinking about trading a 2016 Jeep Renegade for a Buick Encore. My cousin purchased a brand new 2020 Buick Encore in July 2020 after she totaled her 2015 Ford Fusion. She loves her Encore.

@@brendakimmons4618 I got mine 2018 October and I have 36,667 miles on her. No mechanical or electrical issues at all. I put 18,000 miles on her in 1 year when I was a Dog Walker. My favorite part is the Apple Car Play connectivity.Also, the high seat height for my legs. Which Encore or Encore GX model are you looking at?

I have an encore.. it was an impulse buy but i say, im 6’ tall and you can get 3 adults my size in it perfectly fine. I got a new 55” tv in the back fine and i can get 40 mpg in the right comditions, i run 93 and the performance is real good, with the turbo it can climb most hills without even downshifting… i think its a fine car, especially since it was only $20,000 new (2019 leftover bought in late 2020).. and the stereo is great and has 6 speaker, leather trim, 6 spd with manual mode, apple play, awd, xm radio, alloy wheels. Plus with the fold flat front seat you can get 8’ long 2x4 inside the car.. plus it has roof rails so you can put all kinds of stuff on the roof too…. Whats not to love? There is so much modern tech on the car it drives so nice, it even has active noise canceling and its so quiet inside .. with the electric steering there is zero vibration in the steering wheel.. and it has 7” of ground clearance. It has triple sealed doors and sound insulated glass to eliminate almost all wind noise.. its amazing

OMG you're 6,7" Holy crap! After my lease ends on my 2018 I might pick up a pre owned encore. Looking to save a little money and the second hand ones are a lot less expensive than Mazda. I didn't really like the pre face lift encore from 2016 and before but the refreshed ones seem like a lot better value and again they are inexpensive with low miles. Cheers!

Eliminating the ability to choose the 153 hp option for the 2020 model year is a deal breaker for me. I am not buying a car with only 138 hp. I want to merge onto an interstate without having to worry about whether I will survive the experience. Really, Buick? Why dumb down your cars?

Why did I come here and comment? Because it's KZbin and I enjoy watching these videos while I research. Why else does anyone watch videos and comment? Young people just starting families want to buy and keep small SUVs for as long as they can- reliability being the most important aspect. So the CRV or RAV4 are better options in my opinion. I do agree with your choice of Tundra, though I like the smaller Tacoma myself.

I rented a upscale 2017 non-turbo model . Drove it from Tennessee , to Wisconsin .. It was an enjoyable car,.. But, my only dislike was the Transmission .. Slamming the pedal down from dead-stop, second gear always went in with a hard thud..
@guccigarage99187 жыл бұрын
When we were driving this 2018 we didn't notice that there was any abnormal hard shifting. They might have addressed it in the next years model. I definitely understand how annoying that can be though, I have experienced it in other cars and it makes you feel like the trans could go out during any hard acceleration.

I bought a 18' Encore. Its too small for me. I play golf and unfortunately when I bought the car, my golf bag was at home. My bag will not fit across the back of the trunk space. I can only carry one passenger because I have to let down the seats to put the bags forward. Otherwise I like the style and color. I'm used to a van. I'm trying to find a Terrain of the similar color black cherry. If that doesn't happen I'll have to pay cash for a mini-van. Oh yeah no CD player. I got around that bu using a MP3 player thru the USB ports. I can load it with 4gbs of music. I'm not interested in paying for Sirrus and onstar.....
