2018 Charger R/T - Mid Muffler Delete

2018 Dodge Charger R/T with a Mid Muffler Delete. The mufflers were removed and replaced with empty pipes. The resonators are still on the vehicle, as well as the catalytic converters. Everything else on the vehicle is stock, including the active exhaust valves. All of the clips in this video were taken in Sport mode.
Closed course and professional driver. Do not try this at home.

Ehh, a healthy 5.7 Hemi will put out anywhere between 300-330 ish to the wheels depending on weather and newness. Now on the other hand, a beat down non serviced MDS fuckin up your cam shaft Type of Hemi will put out about 275-290 at the wheels 😂. That’s why a lot of people do a MDS Delete with a good cam in these engines makes them run so much better.

Thank you very much for making this video. I currently own a black 2018 Dodge Charger SXT PLUS going on two years and some change now, it's not bad for a V6 that packs a good get up and go for the Pentastar 3.6 liter. It's bone stock, only tints done to it thats it, I dare not put an aftermarket exhaust on a V6 Charger 😅🤦 in my opinion doesn't sound good, but to each their own, no disrespect to those who have V6 Charger and Challenger to make theirs loud than stock. Your video did it justice for me to work my way up in the V8 world of Mopar. I've always loved the Dodge Chargers for me, getting into a 5.7 liter Hemi V8 Charger will be obviously my first time into a V8 in general. I've never owned nor test drove a V8 performance vehicle. My dream is to work my way up to the Dodge Charger Scat Pack. In my opinion the ScatPack sounds better and meaner.

Get a certified used R/T. Mine is a couple years old when I got it. Low miles, and still lots of warranty left. Paid less than a new V6 model and mine is fully loaded

They cut out the stock mufflers and weld in empty pipes in place. Increases the noise and airflow!

I’m not sure why it would sound different besides the 2017+ having active exhaust. It’s just a simple muffler delete. Maybe they changed the other parts of the exhaust in the later years.
