For the people seeing this comment: the RST Suburban and Tahoe have the 6.2L V8 with the 10 speed automatic transmission. Not the 5.3 with the 6 speed.

Did this one not get optioned with the 6.2L? I knew originally it wasn't available, but my understanding it is available now?

I had a 2009 Suburban. Got rid of it at 92K miles. Burned a quart every 1800 through #1 piston because of Active Fuel Management. If Jerry thinks that 75K is a bargain, he's doing better than most of us. I thought 44K was a lot for the one I bought. Just not interested in big or long car payments. I have no idea who is, but I guess MAGA hasn't reached me yet. :)

I like Jerry, but does he ever review anything that isn't the highest trim model?

Hi James! The automakers provide the vehicles and they are generally top of the line models. Thanks for watching and for the feedback!

Thanks Jerry. I kind of figured that. I have to wonder though if there's a disconnect with the cost of stuff. Maybe I've become more frugal as I've aged, but with retirement 6ish years away, I'd like to avoid unnecessary debt and from my POV, manufacturers don't build and sell vehicles in a manner that has the customer first. I can custom order a computer any way I wish, but that model of building and selling cars hasn't caught on yet. The way they do business is out of date and the first manufacturer to go a different route may very well clean up. I know I must sound like a crank, but I just don't get some of the decisions with regards to cars. Pickups with ever shortening beds, options i don't need or want and can't get without and then there's the technology like the aforementioned AFM that turned my Suburban into a diesel. 75K is just too much no matter what they put in it. Thanks again, love your radio show and your videos.
