Thank you so much. My '17 threw a p0132 today and i replaced the o2 sensor with the same ntk 21580 sensor you showed here. Took it for a spin and seems alright, no light no code no stuttering acceleration. the video was very concise and easy to follow. I appreciate you making the vid thanks again

When I spoke to Sean about my engine light being on, he told me to bring the car over and he’ll clear the code. When I spoke to other garages, one said it would be $173.00 to scan and clear the code the other was over $200. Sean scanned and cleared the code for nothing. I trusted him to tell me the route was, and he did suggest at sometime to replace the O2 sensor, which is what the scan showed. Not only did Sean change the O2 sensor he also suggested to change the fuel filter. The whole job was less than the highest garage quoted me for just the scan. Sean messaged me around noon and asked if I wanted my car detailed while he had it. I explained that it was still spring and I’d bring the car to him in June for the detailing. When I went to pick my car up, not only did he do both of the filters, for the price of garage number two, but DETAILED my car. I was shocked. My cars great again, and it looks amazing. Thank you Sean and we can’t forget your sidekick Sarah for the amazing job. Do yourself a favor, contact Sean and support local.

I took my car to get a diagnostic when my engine light came on and it was the sensor. The guy told me that I should take my car in to get it replaced. Instead I bought the part, the tool I needed, and then searched for the right video to show me how to do it. Now I know how to replace the sensor and I don’t have to spend over $100 to do it whenever it needs replacing again. Also it was today when I realized my car shouldnt jerk when I shift….oops

I have a 2018 chevy cruze with 200,000 miles and i do my own maintenance on my car. Clean sensors, change oil, and once in awhile i do replace some sensors even thou the car isnt asking for them. Any car depends on how you treat it and do maintenance on it and it will run good. Thanks for the video. Has saved me alot of $$$. What brand is that sensor and how much did it cost??? I got the GM OEM sensor for $58. I hate the auto stop feature. I just bought a adapter to bypass the auto stop on Amazon for $13. Buy your self one and your starter will thank you for it.

I have a 2017 with 237k on it. I've run premium top tier fuel through it 90% of the time and always Mobil 1 full synthetic and filter for my oil. I've had to have two fuel injectors replaced and that's it so far. Can I ask what your maintanence routine is for the transmission?
@alv17007 ай бұрын
@@amoshobbs2684 I haven't replaced any fuel injectors yet. My routing for the transmission is to do a transmission flush every 80,000 and at 170,000 a transmission flush and replace the filter . After that just do a flush every 80,000.. so far I get around 45MPG. I use Mobil 1 full synthetic and use ac delco oil filter. And runs really good

Just a tip for anyone who doesn't like having to use auto stop/start 100% of the time. I usually just place the gear selector into L the last one down on the selector and press the + button on the top of the gear selector stick until 6 shows up on the instrument cluster - so I know I have all 6 gears selected and it drives like a normal vehicle without auto start/stop. I have the gen2 2016 model but I believe this works for the newer years as well. I use auto start/stop when I'm running low on gas to make sure it doesn't run down too quickly before I fill up again. So it's still nice to have the auto start/stop feature and not bypass it all together.

First of all, thanks for posting this very informative video. Question, Does a bad catalytic converter causes O2 sensors to fail frequently? I have a 2019 Cruze just like yours and the O2 sensors are failing pretty much every year in almost same intervals. I only have 58000 kms (Canadian) on it.
@axlsnakedog4 ай бұрын
@@waliap9986 thank you im glad it helped! And yes a bad converter dosnt help, how is it running? Does it use oil? And im canadian to lol, 58 000kms is not much this shouldnt be happening every year. Add a bottle of seafoam, and or a bottle of fuel injector cleaner to a nearly full tank of gas once every 5 or 10000ks it should help, also check the plugs see if any are fouled or oily, they should all be a tan color at the electrode.

HI! I've been searching like crazy the location of the fuel filter on a same car as yours! Can you tell me where is it exactly? Thank you!
@pedrofuhnominonarthur10653 ай бұрын
I honestly think that was a typo and he meant to say air filter. I believe, but I'm not 100% sure that the fuel filter is built into the gas tank. So they probably meant air filter. Btw make sure the air filter is properly secured in the housing because sometimes they become loose and trigger codes especially if they aren't a good aftermarket make.
