Seriously man, I have $30K in savings, $20K in short term stocks, $60K in long term stocks, $160K in 401K, and $90K in home equity, with no existing loans, and I still question if this is too expensive of a car. Remember, this car will be worth half in 5 years, and almost nothing in 10 years. Only buy cars in cash for money you can afford to throw away, or you'll end up like all the kids that live fast when they are young but then are licking boots and working until they are 70 years old in jobs they hate because they made a few extreme purchases when they were young. :(

The Challenger is the best looking and the best cruising machine of any of the muscle cars of today. The reason why I would get one is because of the looks, sound for the V8s, and because it's a great comfortable cursing machine. The other two are just ugly to me and aren't as a good cruising machine like the Challenger!!

The Challenger is the only real Muscle Car today although some Corvettes are considered so. Camaros and Mustangs are lightweight Ponys. Its funny cause most of these fanboys online laugh about how heavy the Challenger is, thats exactly what makes it a “muscle car”.

Smart move due to them being cheaper, but keep in mind that these scats are not old enough to have depreciated much, and used cars = higher APR. If financing, you may be paying closer to a 2019/2020's prices per month when buying used just due to the APR/the cars not having depreciated much.

Good job on the review but you might want to get a foam wind screen for your mic. Wind noise very annoying in first half of video . I own a 2016 same as this one but in Torred color . You seem to love the car for the same reasons I do . Great performance, quality , value and big fun to drive . Kudos to Dodge for keeping affordable fun to drive alive .

Great video. I have current plant to get a Scat Pack by April/May in the Octane Red. I was glad to see in your video that you had the cloth seats...most videos feature the leather option. I currently have leather in my Mazda and find it scorching hot in the summer. I'd prefer to go back to cloth. How would you rate the quality of the cloth seats? I know after many years of years, cloth can start to stretch, tear etc getting in and out....only plus to having leather. On my particular Scat Pack, I think the only extra package feature I want is the driver assist. I have come to comfortable with that feature in my Mazda, makes me nervous that a car with this big of blind spot and a daily driver....the driver assist would be very helpful.

Napa leather / suede seats are worth the extra $ since they're heated and air conditioned. They'll never get hot if you run the air or a/c through them.

Thanks. Yeah, I opted for the fully loaded Scat Pack with leather the dealer had on the lot....well everything except drivers convenience package. Leather seats, sunroof were 2 things I think I could have lived without, but in the long run would have prob regretted. Plus I think leather holds it's value if I ever decide to sell down the road. It's been an awesome/fun car so far. I just got through my first week of commuting got exactly 1/4 tank of gas left from when they filled it up last Saturday, so not to bad. My Mazda 3 would go a week a couple days, and it had a smaller gas tank and better gas mileage, so I guess I have to put all that into perspective.

R/T good daily good on insurance okay MPG little fun 5.7 375hp . Scat takes only premium gas ,245 rear tires are trash for a 485hp but if u want those 4.3 0-60 numbers then go for which ever you want

I have kind of a newb question here, but if you want to put 275 tires on any of the V8 models - will the car drive well if you put all 4 on or should the tires be staggered? Since my car would be a daily driver and for a couple races maybe every week or so I need a setup that will work both ways, I'm hoping that putting them on all 4 tires would be ok??

You Can go 275s All Around, Matter of Fact The New 2018 T/A 392 is Like That, 275s All Around or You could just Stagger the Wheels 235 Front And 275 Rear these cars can Handle it, Its Comfortable also

Great package for the money. Although it's missing the sunroof and the must have Harman Kardon, and Boston Acoustics Sound System. For those who are still planning to buy one, I suggest order yours with what you want to go with it just before Dodge release the next year's models.

audiogurulyndon don't need to check with Dodge lol. The Challenger comes with Alpine or harmin kardon for the better systems. I own a 2017 and this video is also for a newer model. Looks like the Boston acoustics was offered on 2014 and older but was a weak 276 watt system. Dodge upgraded to the 506 watt Alpine system and the 900 watt Harmon kardon system in 2015 and newer as the upgrade over the stock 276 watt setup.

I love these mopars , but would suggest some weight reduction to make them even more competitive with their GM/ Ford rivals, possibly adding more aluminum parts where possible, and offering gear ratios of at least 3:73 or lower in the automatic cars instead of the current highway gearing they now come with, this would significantly lower 0-60 and Quarter mile times, while still retaining street drive ability.

No he is right. The HID’s are an option, i have them in my 16’ RT. This scat pack is far from fully loaded, they are about 49k with every single option added, the $39,995 that Dodge advertises is bare bones with cloth seats and no options at all, i personally wouldnt spend 40k on a car with cloth seats but thats just me
