2018+ Dodge Charger Smart Access Cable install

This video walks you through step by step installation of the Smart Access Cable for (only) Dodge Charger. This cable is needed to gain access to your 2018+ OBDII for tuning. There are multiple videos for Challenger and not for the Charger. You do not have to pull the radio or center console in the Charger like you don in the Challenger. This took about 5 minutes start to finish and only thing needed is a Phillips screw driver and a plastic pry tool. The part number# H-002-01. I got my off summit they shipped it next day.

Yeah you should be able to call them and you can buy a dongle that plugs into your obd2 port

AFTER PLUGING THIS CABLE, WE CAN READ THE VEHICLE ECM SOFTWARE WITH THE HP TUNER AS I KNOW.. BUT IS IT POSSIBLE TO MAKE CHANGES TO THE ECM SOFTWARE AND THEN WRITE BACK TO THE VEHICLE AGAIN? CAN YOU GIVE INFORMATION ABOUT THIS TOPIC? THIS SHOULD BE THE MAIN ISSUE...2018+ CHALLENGER 3.6

The computer has to be unlocked by HP tuners to be able to write/change settings. The cable just unlocks your canbus “star network” to be able to communicate with the ECU. You can read it however it’s locked and will need unlocked to be able to write
