2018 F150 MoriMoto XB LED HONEST Thoughts

On the F150 did you use the DLR harness? On my 2020 I did and put it in location 36 on the fuse box under the hood, it takes 3 to 5 minutes to shut off. I wish it would shut off immediately once you get out of the truck and hit lock,even better, I wish it was tied to your shifter so they would only come on when you’re in gear.

Would you get the XB over the OEM lariat LED headlights? I love the look of the XBs.

I have had great luck with the XB. I believe the output is brighter than the OEM ones but I know people who swear by them. I do think the OEM color matched look great.

@@beltrik3766 no. No yellowing at all. However I do notice what looks like some spider webbing in the lens of the driver side.

I put morimoto front headlights on my 2018 ram and I don't regret it they look and stay high quality.

One of my XBs on my Ram went out in less than a year. When they were working they were great but I keep reading about a lot of issues. Hopefully yours hold up.

I really like my headlights. But, they were definitely subpar to a true HID projector retrofit. My wife's headlights in her Subaru Impreza are amazing after the retrofit I did to them.

Not sure the warranty on those. However, having to use the warranty itself is always a pain in the butt

I went with the Moto’s because in my other truck, I had a true retrofit kit. In my personal opinion, a quality retrofit is superior to the MoriMoto. However, they are easy to install and they still outperform stock.

My 16 had a tune in it from MPT. It was a BEAST. Like +100 HP and TQ. But loved gas!

Those are the Gen 1 headlights.. but still look good!
