I like Paul. He really seems to know what he's talking about. Fantastic job on another F-150 video. I purchased a 2018 XLT w/ Chrome appearance package 40/console/40 at Thanksgiving. I really liked it but on delivery it turned out to have motor problems (timing chain and related parts rattling inside the engine) as well as some kind of dark grease stains they couldn't clean out on the passenger seat. It sat in service for a week to get repaired and then we found out parts won't be available until after Christmas so I told the dealer to keep it, shouldn't have been sold to me in this condition without me knowing. We sourced a replacement in Wisconsin. This time with the Sport appearance package. I've had it for 2 days now and love the floor shifter (after driving around a loaner XLT in the 40/20/40 config I really learned to dislike the center seat. Just not for me.)

That is unfortunate and we do a pre-delivery inspection on ALL new vehicles to ensure if there is that 1 off that has a part failure issue it is resolved right there and then before delivery. Nicholas Chase The bottom trims are starting to arrive now at dealers. My dealer has one and a couple other dealers in town do also. By October, I would expect all models to be in stock. I heard from a Ford source that the lots in Dearborn are full of trucks waiting to ship.

I've driven F-150 Supercab 4X4's my last two leases, and love 'em! BUT, I want a Ranger! I had three Ranger Supercabs prior to my 150's until they quit making them. By the way, GM has "extended cabs" FORDS are called SUPERCABS! HINT: Always get 3:73 gears with the 302! It's noticably faster.

Make sure you check underneath the new truck you're looking at, I bought a supposed brand new 2017 XLT and it had as much rust on the underside as a 3 year old truck from the rustbelt states!

Nice truck but I am not buying one because of the suicide rear doors , at 10:37... who puts a huge leaky, sloshy cooler in the back of there truck ? I'll take a real solid B pillar thank you . I tried a 2017 f150 and the doors do not shut solid they flex and move around , only way to get a solid closing door is to buy a crew cab or a regular cab or a Chevrolet they have a solid door setup.

Chrome to me, it looks tough! Not luxurious. It's what was on all the trucks stretching back to forever ago! Colored painted grills and bumpers looks like plastic, not tough. It's sporty too, it's a truck, it's not supposed to be sporty!
