Nice video. Just picked myself up one. The Grey seems to be screen accurate as I just came from a Star Wars exhibition that had the screen used models. Oh by the way these retail for $200 here in Australia. It was cheaper for me to buy one from America, and pay for shipping and taxes than to buy one from here. You guys have it so easy when it comes to Star Wars collecting.

Thank you! Glad you got one! I've heard that about Australia, doesn't make sense to me why you guys can't have the same access to toys. You are closer to the factories than we are. Walmarts here can be hit or miss with stuff, but these were around. The original price is a little high for a re-issue. Thanks again!

Target one is too white but I get that it was a homage to the original Kenner toy. Darker grey looks much better but my favorite is the blue one that is painted like the original filming models.

writing is aurebesh.. probarly the pilot number ID or something. You can find a translation on the net.

Shortly after I got this, the wings refuse to snap back on. Nothing I try gets them to stay back on. It's sitting in my closet in pieces right now. Anyone else have this problem?

Hello there! I came across your channel from coming across the walmart Tie-Fighter that was marked down from 80$ to 20$ to see if it was worth it, and it definitely was! Also, I asked a friend about the original color of Tie-Fighters and he said the models were a baby blue-gray-- but they appeared white on film like the Target model. So both are accurate in their own right. Also I tried looking up what the helmet says but I couldn't find anything.

Same mold as the target tie just different color nothing really new. The price tag is way too high for what you are getting.

Mine just won't stay locked in, always popping off. I certainly couldn't drag mine around the table like he's doing! I am trying to get the ball apart to see what's going on (or not going on) inside but it's locked in the center somehow and I don't want to pry on it too much.
