I really love watching auto reviews from MotoManTV because their videos have the best angle (camera on the backseat right side) which I can clearly see the host operating the vehicle; some of the auto reviews have the worst angle ever because all I can see is the face of the host instead of watching him driving the car. Kudos to MotoManTV! Keep up the good work.

Yes, the car looks great. I also agree with MB's small/medium/large philosophy. The shock only suspension is fine, as I don't want to even know what it would cost to replace certain parts of the airbag suspension. Another also, the roads where I live in Central Texas are mostly flat, so no need for ultra flat roadholding. I just want a big, luxurious and fast coupe.

Spot on about the suspension!!!! I test drove one a month ago and loved the car, but the softer suspension held me back from buying it. I wanted something that I can dial in when I'm in the mood for a more performance oriented drive. I hear an AMG version of this car is coming!

There is no S65S only a S65 and the actual S65 model is currently not available as right-hand drive, only the S63. The new S63 also still uses the engine of the E63s as standart, but has no option to switch from AWD to RWD. I guess Mercedes thinks its unsuitable to drift a S-Class.

There is no nice way to say this: The Apple CarPlay integration in this car is abysmal. It is the similar to the one I talked about in this episode ( kzbin.info/www/bejne/qYXHY2yKnresb7c) only with a different screen. Here is another take on the Mercedes Apple CarPlay integration (kzbin.info/www/bejne/qKSlnKusYq2Kb80). Probably the worst integration I have seen which surprises me coming from Mercedes. Other than this fault, the car is beautifully engineered.

You asked, I like it, as it stands. But for another 2K, I would like the adjustable dampers suspension option. It’s a gorgeous car, and 2, 3 or even 4 years from now, with low miles and some depreciation, it will stack up as a compelling choice, even against modestly priced (30-50K) new cars. They stand the test of time. And I agree, the 6 is perfect, perhaps with or without AMG “43” trim. Not a fan of the 4-cylinder in that size car. Paired with the 9 speed, ummh!!

The thing about this car is: There is the C-class coupe available as 63 with the 4.0 liter V8 and then there is the S560/63 which they just updated so if there would be a 63 version of this car they would probably kill either the C class coupe or the S class coupe because there is not enough difference between the 3. I mean what would you say if a customer would ask you what the difference between the E class coupe and the s class coupe is ?

I have been looking at the E400 Coupe for a very long time. Now I'm almost ready to buy. But MotoMan! I think you are absolutely right. I thinkThat This 400Is a Cadillac El Dorado! And so I have to re-examine if I want it or not. And what I am worried about is that a test driveI would be nowhere near long enough to make a decision--on the size the comfort and or sportiness. I remember the 1973 Cadillac Eldorado. Oh my God!I I would've given anything to have that. Seen it in some of the movies only made it more so. Now however, once in a blue moon I now see someone driving one. And it looks absolutely stupid.~~ My next purchase will be the most expensive car that I've ever owned. And I will most likely have it for a very long time. I am not sure what direction I want to go. I still need tautness, and that German precision. Had a brand new BMW 328 in 1995. Incredible. Is is taut like that? Is it smooth like that?

right slot it’s a great car with a lean more towards comfort than sport. It’s a jack of all trades. For instance today it’s raining here in Texas. My previous 911 I would’ve dreaded the ride home. With this car it’s enjoyable. A week ago it was perfect weather and I put down the windows and opened up pano sun roof. Enjoyed the spirited ride immensely. This car is for mature grown people 39+ If you’re a street racer with Msports dreams def don’t get this car. An m4 will cost you less and deliver that german taut precision. This car is more along the lines of a six series coupe.

Shannon Stjulien 😆. Have you ever purchased a MB? Their SUV’s are very nice and more practical for women who shop. I own a nicely loaded GLC 4 Matic, and would never go back to a car. Yes, it’s more bread and butter for MB, but nothing to knock. They are very luxurious inside if you get them well equipped.

Love the design but don’t like the Russian doll idea. Suits the E and the S but the C Coupé doesn’t look quite right to my eyes. An E class should come with a 6 cylinder minimum too with a V8 option. And yes at its price point who would care if it were slightly more but came with adaptive air suspension

It is perplexing why MB doesn't offer adjustable dampers. Why offer optional AMG wheels and an AMG "line" option without making adjustable dampers available? None the less it is a nice car.

i watch videos of people driving 10+ year old mercedes that were really expensive at the time and the one thing that everyone warns about with those cars is the adjustable suspension. maybe that's why they offer the conventional dampers. a re sale thing ? i dn just a thought.

After having an audi a5 coupe and convertible, a slk 230 and slk 250, this car is perfect, the SL is too grandpa and overpriced, this is a coupe with plenty of power, great lines, and awd. Just gotta wait another 2-3 years and buy it for 10% of its MSRP, gotta love eurotrash depreciation!

On the spec sheet it has no charge option "677 lowered suspension with selective damping"! I don't understand what the confusion here is... The dynamic select toggle is clearly visible on the right side of the center console. Maybe he means the air suspension is not included in base price..? Very confusing presentation on this matter that is considered as cardinal in this video yet a common knowledge among anyone who has sat in a newish MB.

I am not fan of white or light colored interiors (except on a retromod classic Chevelle in Laguna Blue with white racing stripes). However this green is Excalibur worthy,and it rolls over the Mercedes frame like the hills of Dover.

My last car was emerald green, really dark but green in the sun light, looked great, twat to keep clean. My late at car is Bohemian purple. I said I'd not get a deep colour again after the green one, but I did. Given my job and where it lives I should of got a 'normal' colour.

To me Mercedes has lost the plot. V8 AMG SUV's but a mid size coupe with no V8 option at all. For me I'll manage Mercedes expectations by saying no thanks. Always the same song with you american reviewers. This is not a sports car but for travel in style and comfort (and reasonable mpg as well). Even the 2L 4 cylinder is good enough for that but only seem to count horse power like a noob camera buyer counting mega pixels. Absolutely laughable. Besides what happend to land of the free ?
