Just got one Friday. I upgraded from the 2015 GLK. The GLC 300 is a amazing car. Good job with the details on the inside of the car.

Congratulations Russell and thank you! I'm brand new to Mercedes so this was completely unscripted just reacting to the car. They make these cars an art form! I'm sure you're loving yours!

So I'm shopping for a new suv, have you had any issues with this yet or the old car? So far I like the mazda CX-9 signature (you get so much in this model), lexus rx350 (for reliability), MDX, and XC60. I can't decide!!!

It competes with the Audi Q5 and BMW X3. Not the Q3 and X1

gregg schwartz thank you Greg you are correct, I watched this again this morning and realized the mistake. I had just driven it for the first time and was reacting without really having anything scripted out. Thanks for correcting me.

Would you get the Burmester surround sound system?
@JesseDishner7 жыл бұрын
Sheila Cardell Great question! I think the speakers look great, and it depends if you're looking to get one on the lower end of the price range or going for a more loaded one. Tell you what, if I'm not super busy with work tomorrow I'll make a video comparing the audio of the regular speakers versus the Burmester. Thanks for the question!

I don't know how to access the spare tire compartment. Help!
@JesseDishner3 жыл бұрын
Oh no! I don't remember, it's been too long!! It may not come with a spare, a lot of vehicles don't know, it might have a run flat kit. In the boot/cargo area see if you can lift up the floor panel and it may be underneath. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Jesse. Do the 2018’s also have the Apple play option? I thought it was only 2019 that first introduced this.
@JesseDishner5 жыл бұрын
Its actually been a while since I've worked at MB so I don't remember. I believe it was a mid model year option available on a limited basis.

WOuld you upgrade and get the LED lights or are go with the standers halogen lights
@JesseDishner7 жыл бұрын
I would ABSOLUTELY go for the LED headlights - in fact after seeing them compared to Halogens I wouldn't buy a GLC without the LEDs.
@JesseDishner7 жыл бұрын
Sheila I don't know if you saw it but I uploaded a video comparing the halogen and the LED head lamps a day ago. Check it out!

Does this compete with the Lexus NX?
@JesseDishner7 жыл бұрын
If you're considering buying both of these cars than yes it does. Mercedes is kind of in a league of it's own in my opinion. Not because they're necessarily the absolute best with everything that they do, but in that they don't really do things the same way as other brands. They don't do the same pricing or incentives that many other brands do, and so you'll end up paying more for a Mercedes than a Lexus with a similar sticker price. My research indicates that the Lexus NX is about 20% less than the GLC 300. They're both similar in length, but the Mercedes is lighter and has a much longer wheelbase, so I would expect a very different driving experience. If you like how both of them look online you may have to resort to a test drive to decide which you like better, and if it's worth spending more to get the Mercedes.

No fucking push start pass
@JesseDishner7 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your reply, actually there is push start, and keyless access, and remote start from the app. We take the buttons out until they are sold because they are removable and we don't want them to get lost or stolen. Sorry for the confusion!
