This is my favorite engine, I'm still not sure which platform I prefer. Having gotten a bit older ( some say delightfully mature) and somewhat wider: I have finally forgotten the days of being fascinated with window decals in Japanese and giant rear spoilers. I now lean toward the elegance of refined power, the iron glove wrapped in silk.

i will choose V12 as they are more balanced, offers smooth power delivery as piston fires every 60 degrees of crankshaft rotation.. its more free revving, as individual cylinders are smaller SO A PERFECT BALANCE BETWEEN LUXURY AND SPORTY DRIVING EXPERIENCE

I live downtown Washington DC and currently drive a 2015 S550 4matic. I am considering buying a S63 when my lease is up in June because I’m moving to LA in the fall so I’ll be able to find places to open it up. I like the Panamera but the AMG is the best of all worlds. There is a very exclusive pedigree that accompanies a V-12 regardless of any other metric. I drive one of these cars. I can tell you that nearly every time someone glances at the front fender of the car and sees that, V=12 Bi turbo badge they cannot help but do a double-take. That alone is worth the additional price. You simply do not get that from a V-8. Enough said...

From the USA. If it was my own money, I'd get the S63. If I was offered both cars at the same price, I'd pick the S65. I would also have to take a look at the BMW 7 series.

V8. I have one, without the turbos, and drove both V12 and V8. The V12 is better for racing, but for me, everyday drive is better on the V8

V8 because: sounds awesome and has 4MATIC+. I don't think there's any point going RWD in a car of this class, size and weight. It's never gonna be sporty in the turns and the electronics will kick in just by thinking about the accelerator. Better to have that extra grip in all conditions and be able to use that power. Just my preference.

v12 seriously,i'm living in turkey and let me explain cost of this car in my country.Buying tax; in here tax has tax %160 special counsumption tax and plus %18 vat it mean if car's price 100k without tax, selling price 306k.Owning tax is 20k₺(try) yearly and our subsistence wage is 1.6k.Just a few statistics about cars in my country;average age is 13.1,last year selling cars %96 is under 1600cc because they has lower buying tax but it's still very high... Guys you have to love your country and we have to watch this cars on youtube
