this is basically a redesign. What else were they supposed to change? It is a pickup. A body on top of a ladder frame. The frontier redesign is coming up. Nissan hasn't done much aesthetically to their pickups in 10 yrs or more.

I'm not opposed to a Mercedes-Benz pickup truck (they've done it before in Argentina with the W115 220D Pickup). I'm not opposed to this car being built on a tried and tested Nissan platform (makes sense for cost reasons). BUT... The design of the X-class concept looked great. Most comments about it were highly positive and encouraging. Even the interior looked great. THEN... We get this. This dull-looking car. I'm sure the X-Class is a great car with typical Mercedes (and also Nissan) attributes, but the production X-Class just comes across as DULL, inside and out. The X-Class concept SHOULD HAVE BEEN the production X-Class.

Spoiler alert. All car companies share parts with other car companies, sometimes all they do is rebadge a vehicle like in this case. Thefore all the idiots who like to claim that an Audi is a VW, a Lexus is just an expensive Corolla and so on. Guess what no vehicle you drive is above this, u just pay for a logo. Nothing is wrong with that anyway, because the logo comes with upgrades and bragging rights. Marketing runs the world, goods are only worth what u are willing to pay for them. Mercedes isn't better than a Nissan, but it demands a premium. So don't worry about the rebadged Nissan. If u don't call the rebadged Mercedes that Infiniti has a Mercedes, then don't call this a Nissan. (Infiniti QX30/Mercedes GLA)
