Wow amayzing, i had to try so hard to get 1000whp in my gt500 twin turbo car full mods! i did it at 21 psi on e85. New stang is simply amayzing.

Does anyone know if the gen 3 f150s have the same internals as the gen3 mustang's? Just like the gen 2 have small differences such as the compression ratio, cam's etc...

Are the oil pump gears still stock too? Has anyone run into oil pump gear failure on the ‘18s yet?
@Lundracing6 жыл бұрын
Fed Exed yup all stock. And not that we are aware of!

Lund Racing that’s awesome! Nice work! Was the Aldo-weld tune done remotely?? I’ve had my 18 about a month now and my Hellion twin 62 kit just arrived. I still need to get id1050’s & a boosta-pump Via e-mail, I’ve already been in touch with someone at Lund about working on a tune.

Crazy how strong that powertrain is in an inexpensive car. That is the most impressive thing to me. Looks are subjective, but wow.
@zacht94474 жыл бұрын
This thing is not going to last at this power level, the base stang doesn't have the rods or pistons to last
@marcsmith38814 жыл бұрын
@@zacht9447 I agree. The crank and rods are actually forged, but the pistons are not in any of the Coyote engines.

These engines are failing on stock power and you expect me to believe this is holding up to 1000 rwhp? Doubt it.

And every youtube kid's favorite 2j has failed on stock power too. As did the LS1's when we first got them in australia, in fact there were so many failures that if the engine was noisy they replaced the entire engine under warranty and started assembling them in oz. Not defending low KM production engine failures under normal driving/maintenance, just trying to point out production issues =/= the strength of the engine. This ran 8.90s @ 155 with totally stock driveline not long ago... 2018's are beast, engine, gearbox you name it, dickhead.

And the LS engine issues were found and taken care of in future versions weren't they? Sure, even the LT1 had issues initially but not anymore. From day 1, the Coyotes have suffered from all kinds of problems and this latest version is carrying on that trend. Yes, I understand production issues happen, but this is just poor engineering and procrastination. More 2018 engines are rattling and ticking. Cylinder scoring seen on some according to some forum members. Beast my hairy ass!! The LT1 is a beast, not this ticking, rattling POS Coyote. The 10 speed auto seems to be holding up fairly well so far, I'll give it that. But the the MT82 is a total POS, And this is not 'some' production issues. I will guarantee you, there will be huge tidal wave of shit coming down regarding this engine and tranny if Ford doesn't do something now. There is a already a TSB out for the MT82 where Ford is claiming (according to a youtube video) there is a bad batch of shift forks. I'm not sure I buy that, but I feel bad for the guys that are stuck with it. Ford's engineering and quality control have gone downhill over the years. And has once again manifested itself in these latest engines, dickhead.
