These buttons seem like they are common everywhere except for the U.S and Canada. It seems very efficient to have an elevator system with fast elevators in an Airport Terminal. It's great for people who have tight connections and need elevators. I love the all scenic design!

Amazing Otis elevators. I filmed another Otis Gen2 elevator located quite close to these ones and is identical but it goes to gates F7 - F10 on floor 2.

Oh my this elevator was lightning fast!! I've ever seen a Gen2 move at these kind of speed before!! That's also a different car panel than found on Gen2 elevators in the USA. I would love to visit this airport sometime, it looks very modern!! The only thing is that the brakes could use some lubricant, they made a lot of noise when coming to a stop on the top floor. Excellent video as always Andrew!!

Glad you enjoyed riding European Gen2. In terms of design, the current newer design (known as "Ambiance") looks much better and brighter than the previous Optima/Selecta/Lumina design.

I’m surprised these Gen2s are actually smooth and quick compared to the US, they’re just like the ones we get down here in Australia. Only difference is most or some of our Otis lifts have either STEP (or the Asian design, despite our newer ReGens having that most of the tome) or Dewhurst, but nontheless quite fun. Problem is, for the newer ones they aren’t well built. Either way, the only great thing we got is we also have a lot of voices, including the US one too! You should definitely come here if you get the chance, they look similar to the US ones but are also lightning fast
@DieselDucy13 күн бұрын
Us ones typically run better
@ElevatorsfromSydney_new10 күн бұрын
Yeah, I could agree on that since they are way more smoother. I do like the fixtures from the US though, all we get here is just the basic Concaves or Dewhurst.

Soooo, i dont really know much about European elevators since every elevator in south carolina is a otis series 5 or 7, BUT WHERE DID DAT COME FROM! thats the stuff you see on a spaceship! I think that Florence needs to put there shoes on cuz thats the coolest thing ever! Its literally a otis series over 9000😂😂😂😂😂

The indicator says 2018 tho...plus the floor counter does not appear to be one youd see in 2015. Not trying to start anything, but if the indicator says 2018, why do others say these were from 2015?

Funny thing. US ones run a lot better than their European counterparts. Aesthetically these are nicer but the American ones seem to run much better. I have seen some pretty bad Gen 2 in Europe.
