I still have my M12's from 96 and some M12 oli short edition. So glad roces have brought the godfather of aggressive skates back. Great review and cant wait to pick up some M12 2018 skates.

Man these skates have been around forever! I had them back in 95 when I was 13! Back then they didn’t have a soul plate but it didn’t stop me pulling souls EVERYWHERE! Haha

This brings up memories 18-20 years ago the first M12 came out or was available in Germany and i used to share i think it was called 5th element with an aluminum bottom with a friend cause in Europe they were very expensive . I sabed and yeah i stole stuff aswel and my parents said if i cansave 25% ill get the m12 for my birthday 😜💖In those days we had to screw platic on the side cause grinding wasnt really possible otherwise but i stuck to M12 and the Aaragon Chocolat for vert. Always hated those K2 Skates but eventually i stopped skating. Looking at these shoes really makes me think if i should go an order a pair im 34 years know and into free climbing and juggling so why not buy a pair and recapture some off my youth i mean i don't habe to go and do unity grinds on handrails! Damm thanks dude trip down memory lane!

Have to be great skates like back in the days, i still have a pair of the m12's from about 1998/99 hi cuff non ufs in my basement. I think the new lowcuff with harder pu is waaay better than the v13🆎, we are surely about to see a lot of them in the future. Great job on ROCES, Ricardo! Thats my favorite brand. Im rocking ROCES ELEMENT 52, flat setup, for a couple of years now, and i found them really nice for skating all around. Now Im thinking about getting new M12 maybe. They look really good tho. OLD SCHOOL blades, you now. ;) :) And white one are dope as hell! Big up Lino!

V13 and m12 is same skate basically. Both super narrow though and not really available too many places or in many sizes. Hard af to find

Ricardo, what do u think about using an aggressive boot with free skate 80mm frames as a full time option. I’ve been skating for years and I have 4 pair of inline skates that all hurt my feet. I’m 5’8” 185lbs with flat feet. I’ve got to find a better solution. My kids keep skating and I have to take my skates off about twice during a session. None of them are wide enough. Sucks! I’ve been dealing with it for years until I saw your video where u added inline frames to aggressive boots.

Mate... That torque to back royale AO topsoul was dope! One of my first pairs of skates was the m12 Majestic Roces white ones. It felt like they went upto my knee. Does it feel like these come up high? You say they are supportive but are they too supportive if that makes sense? Do they have any give in them for easy topsides on ledges?

I like this video very much :) these skates are indeed very stylish, I love how they look! :) And you make all your tricks seem so easy on them :P I'm thinking about getting these skates for their looks and only 1 buckle which is the best kind of buckle I ever had :) How do these skates (or boots) compare to Seba CJ skates? Because these are so cheap I figure there must be some downsides compared to more expensive skates like the CJ. I'm thinking about setting these boots up with a Wizard NR90 frame and a GC Mega frame for in the parks. Or would that expensive Wizard frame be wasted on a boot like this?

the frame is different and cuffs are lower. the rest i don't know ;) but from what i heard different colors had different feels...I'm not sure

The fact you even hit a negative in Roces is amazing. W grinds not a fan. The Roces are more about ramp skating and h-block tricks. You can really hurt yourself skating street in these skates because there’s a huge margin for error and they are completely unforgiving. I had one of my worst falls in these and I watched a certain unnamed pro who made these skates popular in the first place fall hard on his hip doing an easy ao top soul on a small ledge and really hurt himself.
