2018 ROK International Final: Ugo Ugochukwu

It was a solid week of driving at South Garda for the young American, Ugu Ugochukwu. However, a third place in the final was likely disappointing for the 11-year old, as he hadn't finished outside the top two in any of his five heat races. We spoke with him just after he received his third place prize.

Could be, but not sure he is as fast from some of his races I've seen. Got taken out from 3rd in Adria Circuit, Italy last year. But in that race, the first two drivers, led by Spina were constantly dropping Ugo to 3rd until Ho spun him out. Hamilton at this stage was a bit faster I think.

Reminds me more of Verstappen but the McLaren signing at a young age does have echoes of Hamilton. He is a pretty intense kid though. Almost never seen him smile. I think that intensity will continue to show on the track in future years. Looking forward to seeing him in F1 some day.
