1:47 except two heads, double the camshafts etc etc lol. I love my Subaru but I think the part count is higher in a boxer vs a straight four

why Subaru didn't put this engine to ascent..?? smh.. can someone explain this to me. yes i understand its for better fuel economy.. but still, ascent is twice as big and needs more power than 4 cyl, turbo. i feel i got ripoff.

Didn't cover the eyesight safety features at all. Adaptive Cruise Control, Frontal Collision Mitigation, Lane Keep Assist and Departure Warning. That stuff is huge.

This engine should be an option on the Impreza hatchback sport and Crosstrek. Come on Subaru!!!

TOTO Cult The 3.6L H6 has one more year in the US with the 2019 legacy/outback getting it (maybe) and then it's going to be gone and replaced with a turbo 4 introduced in the bigger Subaru Ascent. The H6 is underpowered for its displacement and bad on gas. My 2015 3.6 would average about 20-21mpg mixed and that just doesn't cut it anymore. It was smooth and sounded like a Porsche though.

The 2018 is not all-new. It is a mid cycle refresh of the 2015 redesign and that even had a lot of carry over from the design prior to it. This has new infotainment and a new front end and those are the major changes from the 2017 model. The Outback/Legacy platform will be redesigned for the 2020 MY and it is almost assured the H6 is going away and getting replaced with the direct injected turbo 4 introduced in the much bigger Ascent.

Those turbo engines suck I’d rather have the 3.6

So glad they went with those low profile slimmer roof rack. The old blocks are so ugly.

What no one ever comment on is the suspension. That is the reason why you buy Subaru. There is no car in the planet that handles like Subaru. That that SUV to hit some corners and you’d see what I’m talking about. It’s the perfect ratio of Stability/Confort.

I have a 2019 Outback limited and I love it. Great in the snow, it is a very nice looking car, and I have the 4 cylinder engine and it is by no means sluggish. The car moves when you hit the gas. Contrary to what many say about the 4 cylinder.
