2018 Subaru STi Nameless Muffler Delete 3.5" Neochrome Exhaust

Comparison between the stock Subaru STi exhaust w/ mufflers vs the Nameless Axleback w/o mufflers. First time installing an exhaust, took me 2 1/2 hours. I seriously recommend this exhaust for anybody with a 2015-2018 STi!

Dude thanks for this video - I have a stock WRX base (2021) and I just pulled the trigger on the Nameless 3.5" single-wall neocrhome tipped axleback w/ muffler delete, this video was exactly what I needed to make up my mind. Sounds so good!

NASupercars so where is the resonator on the STI? Because I seen on other videos people saying two other things, like one is the cylinder shape above the giant mufflers and the other is a small boxed shape above the cylinder it’s like the size of a palm, I’m sure the cylinder above the muffler is the resonator but I’m not sure what that square box is above the cylinder

Debating this muffler delete for my sti. Your ride is all stock minus the muffler delete? Im sure the video doesnt do it justice and its much louder in person? I wanna turn heads wherever I go ;) will this be the solution? Thanks and nice video!

Ozzy it’s completely stock. It sounds very good, everyone who heard it in person says they love it. It’s not insanely loud when it’s idling it’s just when you really rev it up is when it screams. I would do more but because of emissions I can’t unfortunately.

menswearhous I have not heard the spt exhaust by Subaru, but I can tell you the nameless exhaust is definitely louder than the spt exhaust because it deletes the mufflers. If you want something louder will need to delete the cats and/or resonators.

OmG_Itz_BoB it definitely sounds louder and better in person. I haven’t heard many other exhausts on Subaru’s, but I think it would be a 7. If you live in a state where you can get rid of more than a muffler then definitely do so.

Absolutely too much with catless DP. They make this exhaust with 4 in or 5 in mufflers and those sound amazing with a dp

No problem, there’s no droning inside the cabin, and if there is it’s down low below 1200 rpms (not idle) which is bad for the engine anyways so no lol

Thanks a lot for replying.. I just bought a 2019 Sti limited.. With a very small wing.. And i do love it like that..( im in my 40s now) and i want that tone down look, but i want to hear mild to moderate boxer rumble.. Not loud and i dont want that drone inside if possible.. I used to own a 2007 Sti.. (hawkeye=), which i missed. So i got me a new toy! :).

How is the drone on the highway? I brought a nameless axle back delete for my outback 2.5. Rumbles nice, but drones way too much to daily. Sounds like an exhaust leak, loud & shitty when cruising on the highway. Only good when WOT.

bmwmsport11 I haven’t noticed any droning on the highway. When I’m going 70 the car would be near 3k rpm, so it just sounds like your about to do a pull. Is your outback a cvt?

Martin_STI Not on demand, but if your in 1st gear, low rpms and do a lil pull and let off, there might be some crackles. Nothing crazy

I got the same Nameless muffler delete on my STI it does pop and crackle when you shift higher than 3,000 rpm sounds really nice

Sound like crap. Muffler deletes only make the car sound a little louder. You need the complete cat back muffler delete exhaust system to really make the car sound mean.
